We stayed here from May 2nd till May 5th. Mr.Aboobakar the life guard, Murali from the restaurant, Renjith from housekeeping and the lady from the front office were very pleasant and welcoming. The valet parking team was good as well. What most of the staff in the restaurant was lacking was a smile on their face and explain what they serve the guest. I dont know why management takes people from the engineering department, and uses them to help in breakfast, as the person assigned, was very unpleasant and served an omelette on my table not even looking on my face and just walked off very seriously.He was found busy with the mobile phone in the live pickup counter later.I felt like i am sitting at a Daba. ( Even if they don't do it). The breakfast buffet was average and the beetroot juice what they put on the buffet on the first day till the last day tasted like water even after mixing and shaking the jug, where they displayed it. Addressed it to the small north indian lady who appologised me for delaying my omelette and waffle for 20 minutes on sunday, as it was a busy breakfast day. But on the last day of my check out also i had to see this kind of unpleasant face as well. I can understand if the property is old. But a smiling face, good service and good food can change the game. They will go for rennovation in couple of months. But to be frank this is not the place where you will get Taj standards and service. Better go for different star hotels in calicut like, Gokulam, Tiara or Raviz.
