One Ocean Boutique Apartments & Suites Bonaire

When you return to a place for the fifth time, it says something. One Ocean Boutique Apartments & Suites on Bonaire has become much more than a holiday destination for us — it’s our home away from home. Every stay reinforces why this place holds such a special place in our hearts. The penthouse remains our favorite, offering unbeatable privacy and those mesmerizing sunsets. Even with the property fully booked, it never felt crowded — just peaceful and relaxed. One highlight of this trip was the help we received with our afternoon ocean dips, making every swim effortless and enjoyable. As always, the apartment was spotless and beautifully equipped, but what truly makes One Ocean special is the people. This time, we also got to meet Tessa, a fantastic new addition to the team, who added to the already amazing hospitality. Each visit feels like a reunion with old friends, where every need is anticipated, and every moment is filled with comfort and joy. Our week at One Ocean Boutique in Bonaire was perfect! All aspects of the trip went seamlessly. Our hosts, Vronie and Geert, arranged the airport transfers, had the rental car waiting at One Ocean, picked up "starter" groceries, provided a later checkout and basically did everything for us so that all we had to do was show up! In all my travels, I have never met such friendly and helpful hosts - you instantly felt you were friends. As we asked questions during the week, they provided us with various information sources (maps, books, fish guide) for what we were interested in doing. We have visited Bonaire for 25 years (and plan to visit many years more). We love this boutique and will return. The location is fantastic - north of the city (i.e. cruise ships) and closer to many of the best snorkeling/dive sites. The snorkeling is wonderful in front of One Ocean as well as at close by snorkeling sites.

It was a perfect holiday. The evening pick-up from the airport on arrival went smoothly and quickly. The welcome from Tessa, the assistant, was lovely and we were introduced to all essential things and the the car (pick-up) was done without any problems. We immediately felt very welcome and the comprehensive facilities, especially the kitchen, were impressive. Even bin liners, tea towels, a juicer and many other little things were available. Everything was very clean and inviting. The next morning, the breakfast pack helped us to start the day without having to go shopping first. During our stay, all towels were replaced several times and the cleaning lady takes her job very seriously. As Vronie and Geert were also on holiday for a few days, the assistant Tessa always helped quickly with a great service. Everything was taken care of. Further advantages for divers are that there is a co-operation with the diving centre VIP Diving, which always provides enough tanks directly at the house, the in-house drying rooms for hanging up the diving equipment, the water basin and the outdoor shower for rinsing the equipment after a dive, and of course the short way to the house's own reef, which has a lot to offer in terms of diving. The shuttle service also worked perfectly for the return journey and it was a very warm farewell from Vronie and Geert, with the promise to come back again.

We've spent 5 nights at One Ocean and for us it was a perfect stay on Bonaire. It's a quiet and modern accomodation with a wonderful oceanview to watch the sunset. One Ocean has it's own access to the ocean with a beautiful reef to see lots of fish. Also Geert, Vronie and their team are very friendly hosts and helped us out with everything we needed.

Great stay on Bonaire! The view from our apartment was amazing! The hosts, Geert & Vronie, are so nice and helpful. You will have all the information about the island you that you need. The bubbles and beers in the fridge upon arrival were a nice surprise.

Tranquility guaranteed The booking quick and smoothly The hosts welcomed us and explained how everything worked. A very warm welkom ! The taxi they arranged for us was excelant. The Room was impecabal and bed excellent quality ! Airco and fan . Nice vieuw from our bed Terras was huge! Even with houses at both sides there was a very good sense of privacy . Perfect to enjoy the sun set. Kitchen with Microwave, oven dishwasher freezer. Also available camping chaires and big coolbox . In front of the facility, there’s an entrance to dive or snorkel. You can even snorkel until Andrea I Very happy and nice quiet Neighborhood.
