Kunming Wanda Plaza Jiale Homestay (Kunming Railway Station Wanda Plaza Branch)

The hotel was newly opened in 2025. The hotel lift reaches every floor, room was good sized, very clean and hygienic with good amenities. The room condition dose matches the description as you can see on the hotel website. We stayed in the hotel for a few days and were very impressed with the level of service. Owners were friendly and helpful . Hotel is right in the middle of the prime shopping and eating district , just on the top of the subway station line 6 from airport line 30 mins) . Foods, supermarket and shopping just downstairs. There is good viewing from the apartment . I also requested late check out and it was granted this time (due to my flight was 21:30), the owner is so helpful and understanding . Owner's response is prompt when you contact him. I thoroughly recommend this hotel for those visiting Kunming City , Yunnan China.

Unfortunately, I have to tell you what really happened. The apartment is new, but if you're looking for a room on the 22nd floor with a beautiful view, don't expect to get it (despite a confirmed booking through Trip.com). As seen in the attached photo, upon arrival at the building (because there's no reception desk where you can discuss accommodation conditions. This is actually a major drawback. If there's a reception desk or someone responsible for the property or room, you can negotiate terms with them. In this case, you only receive a door code, and that's it). The owner only sends the door code (for the floor where he currently has available rooms). He sends this via chat on Trip.com. It's unimaginable to me that I received a message that, despite booking a room (which looked different) and, above all, was on the 22nd floor with a beautiful view, the owner informed me that I arrived too late that day (it was 10:00 PM) and said that my room had unfortunately already been rented to someone else. We were given another room on the 14th floor with similar amenities. Don't count on a Japanese toilet working. Only the flush works, but don't expect the same level of hygiene as with these types of toilets. The upward spray simply doesn't work; only the flush and seat heating work. The apartment is quite large and also has a second floor with a large bed. The shower was broken, and water was pouring from above in all directions.

完全超出預期的一次住宿！裝修是我喜歡的簡約風，打掃得一塵不染，廚房可以簡單做飯，家電都是好用的品牌款，位置離景點近但不吵，體驗感滿分！loft户型超適合和朋友合租，客廳能一起聊天打牌，廚房廚具齊全可以煮火鍋，位置在市中心，晚上出門覓食也很方便。

整體體驗超棒！民宿乾淨整潔，佈置得很温馨，像家一樣舒服，位置絕佳，地鐵站步行幾分鐘就到，出行超方便，性價比直接拉滿！房東人特別好，提前發了詳細的入住指引，有問題秒回，還推薦了本地小眾美食，太貼心了！

比較不錯的一次體驗，酒店位置較好，就買萬象城上邊，吃飯，出行，購物都很方便，樓下居民區有小商店，小吃店，早飯比較好解決。老闆人很好，酒店12點退房，因為火車是下午3點半的，老闆主動給延遲到下午2點退房。

這家民宿真的超出預期！從預訂到入住全程都很順暢，房東特別熱情，房間收拾得乾乾淨淨，佈置得温馨又有格調，用品齊全得像家裡一樣，晚上睡得特別舒服。地理位置也很方便，周邊吃飯逛街都方便，性價比超高！已經把它列入下次來的必住清單，強烈推薦給大家～
