Hard to believe, but the views from the house are better than the pictures... I can't overemphasize the sight-lines of La Jolla, and the Pacific, as well as evening sunsets. Easily the best rental experience I have had."

This magnificent 5-bedroom, 5-bath Mediterranean-style home is situated in the Country Club neighborhood along the San Diego coastline, offering the best views of gorgeous ocean sunsets, La Jolla Village, beach, and golf course views. It features secluded terraces and gardens surrounded by palm trees and fountains, as well as back terraces with sweeping views for entertaining with barbecue, pool, spa, and fountains.
Each of the five bedrooms comes with walk-in closets. The master bedroom and baths are spacious, convenient, and is complete with a beautiful view of La Jolla and the coast! This Spanish Villa is situated on a larger lot, in the La Jolla Country Club neighborhood of San Diego, California. It features classic Spanish Villa appointments such as Saltillo tile flooring, tile roof, elegant wrought iron railings inside and out and beautiful gardens and terraces with palm trees and flowers surrounding the house. This residence is fenced and offers a great deal of privacy for guests. There is a three-car garage and a driveway which fits 3+ additional cars (6 car maximum).
As you enter the property, you are greeted with lush landscaping and a water fountain that leads you to the front door (which has a window that opens to ocean views). The middle floor off the entryway features a beamed living room with magnificent ocean views from a historical window designed by Architect Thomas Shepherd (La Valencia Hotel), with sofa seating and a gas-burning fireplace. Adjacent is a family room with comfy sectional seating, a flat-screen TV and the Pasadena sleeping porch, with ocean and sunset views, where you can kick back and relax on one of the sofas, sipping your beverage of choice.
The 10-person ocean-view dining room is adjacent to the large gourmet kitchen, with an island and an ocean-view breakfast table. Step outside the dining room & kitchen onto a spacious deck equipped with outdoor teak dining tables, an outdoor gas fireplace and Lynx gas grill. From here, you can see forever with spectacular views of the ocean, coastline, golf course and city lights.
There are 5 full-size bedrooms. The Master Suite is on the main level, and 3 bedrooms are up 7 steps off the kitchen, with a hallway closing door. The 5th bedroom is on the middle level. All bedrooms have hardwood flooring and lots of closet space. The spacious Master Suite features a balcony, a day-bed sofa (sitting room), access to the patio and spa, as well as views from the comfy king-size bed. The Master Bathroom features his and her bathrooms with a tub in hers and walk-in shower in his.
On the bottom level there is an exercise room with a work-out machine, exercise mats, a True stationary bike (sunset & ocean views) and a full bathroom with shower.

Pool & Spa: Spa heat is included in your daily rental rate, but pool heat is additional. Please reach out if you'd like it to be added to your reservation. Lap pool is roughly 5.5 ft deep.

Beautiful home in La Jolla
Nine friends who met in High School stayed at this property to celebrate our 50th birthday. This house was perfect. It has 5 nicely appointed bedrooms, plenty of conversation areas and fabulous views of La Jolla. Although up in the hills, were pleasantly surprised by how close it is to Prospect street and the Cove. Just about a mile walk, or 5 minute Uber ride. Megan Rose, our host was responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great Stay for SoCal Golf
House worked out great for buddy golf trip. We used the kitchen, patio with BBQ grill and hot tub/pool every day. Quiet neighborhood, chill town (for better or worse, nearly everything is closed by 10 PM on weeknights).

Beautiful Home
This home was wonderful for our stay to visit our son. It is very well equipped with everything you need to cook with in the kitchen. The house is very clean and the outdoor spaces are so beautiful. The property manager was great and always responsive. We would absolutely come back to this home. Just be mindful if you have older guests traveling with you there are many stairs throughout the home. Really cool house and very well maintained. Convenient to restaurants and shopping

Great spot for a family gathering!
We had three generations on our trip and had a delightful stay. There was enough space for everyone to spread out and there were comfy gathering spots for everyone to come together. The kitchen was well stocker. The pool and hot tub were a big hit too.

Stunning view and ideal location
Our family spent a week in La Jolla visiting friends and family and hosting many meals and get togethers at this home. It was absolutely perfect. Fantastic kitchen made preparing meals for up to 12 people a breeze and the dining room easily fit our large group. Multiple gathering spots around the home allowed teens to hang out in one spot while adults conversed in another. The pool was lovely and all of the bedrooms and baths were comfortable and perfectly accommodating. And the view of the ocean on top of all of this was simply breathtaking! The home is definitely older and could use some TLC in places but nothing that interfered with our stay.

Beautiful property!
Hard to believe, but the pictures of the view are 100% accurate. The property was beautiful, near activities in La Jolla and San Diego. The pool was fantastic for a quick dip to cool off, and the hot tub was nice As well. Everyone in the family had a great time!!

Highly Recommend
Amazing property. The sunset views were there cherry on top. Communication was excellent with the property manager, check in/out were a breeze. The home had everything we needed for a wonderful and comfortable stay. We would recommend this property and stay again. Very conveniently located to downtown La Jolla and Torrey Pines road for easy access in and out of LJ.

Great house
Lovely setting, beautiful home. Very comfortable for 8 adults with fantastic indoor and outdoor spaces. Well stocked and in a wonderful location to explore La Jolla and beyond. Host was communicative and everything went very smoothly with arrival and departure. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you!
