The Plantation Inn

My husband and I just spent a lovely 8 night stay at the Plantation Inn. The hotel itself is lovely and very quiet. They serve a very substantial breakfast on the front porch with several different options to choose from. I especially liked the Brioche French Toast and the House Made Granola with Vanilla Yogurt. All of the staff were wonderful doing their best to make sure everyone was having a great stay. Keeping the facilities spotlessly clean and meeting every request with a smile. The hotel is a very short walk to the shops and restaurants in Lahaina and offers free parking for their guests. There is a lovely pool for a nice refreshing swim or sunbathing in a private courtyard of the hotel. We had a Lanai room on the ground floor (per our request) with French doors to a semi-private patio overlooking the pool. The room was roomy enough for two with a comfortable king bed. There is plenty of dresser and closet space and a small safe as well. There is a ceiling fan as well as AC that was very quiet. The bathroom is small with a shower only and limited space for toiletries but it does have a mirror that opens with storage for toothbrushes/paste, deodorant etc. I would warn that as the hotel is older the plumbing is rather noisy whether it's your rooms or your neighbors. Another minor complaint which may not bother most people but if you are used to being able to watch or stream your favorite shows on the hotels television you are not able to do that here. They have some cable and regular TV channels and they do offer free Wi-Fi (but it is not a secure line) but the TV's are not SMART so you cannot connect and stream your own Netflix or other accounts. Small things that did not take away from our enjoyment of our stay.

We had a good stay. Breakfast and staff were great. Clean room in a quiet, old style inn/hotel. The pool area was also very clean and tidy. For the rate paid, we think that hair conditioner and body lotion should've been provided as basic toiletries/amenities. The clothes hanger on the balcony is a nice touch. Wifi worked well. The free parking was easy and plentiful. The location of the inn was perfect...secluded (quiet) but is a very short walk to shops and restaurants and a short drive to the popular beaches.

This place is a hidden gem! I truly didn't want to share because of selfishness of the find,but,its the most fabulous bed n breakfast in town! But yet so quiet and serene! If you have a few days in line,give it a try and you'll experience the same serenity!

My wife and I really enjoyed the location and value of this Inn. It was a quick walk to a central part of Front Street in Lahaina and really close to one of the best shave ice places on the island. The staff was super friendly and walked us to our building upon check-in. The included breakfast options are slightly limited but it's included and tasted good so no complaints.

We stayed in the Plantation house after we arrived in Maui. It is a beautiful old house with spacious rooms and balconies. The pool was excellent with a wonderful selection of all inclusive breakfast items, We thoroughly recommend it
