Faletti's Hotel Lahore

Staying at Flattei’s Hotel is like stepping back into the grand and nostalgic charm of early 20th-century Lahore. The staff is exceptionally courteous, well-mannered, and genuinely helpful—offering warm smiles and attentive service that often surpasses what is found in many of today’s five-star establishments. Its location is unmatched—tucked behind WAPDA House, near the Punjab Assembly, and right off The Mall, placing you at the crossroads of old-world charm and modern-day Lahore. Whether you are a local looking for a serene staycation or a visitor eager to explore the city’s heritage, Flattei’s Hotel offers an experience like no other.

People staying at hotel are away from home and they need a homely feel, I would say Faletti’s was absolutely remarkable in this regard. They had great staff. Whenever I used to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner, the staff used to offer us to carry our 1.5 month old baby so that we can eat properly, or they would serve food at our table from buffet so that we don’t have to get up again and again. Their service was so quick, that even if I looked away for few minutes and they would see that I’m not eating and my plate is empty, they would instantly remove it. From room service to laundry, everything was great. I had an amazing stay here.

Of all the good hotels in Lahore's Garhi Shahu neighbourhood I went for the Faletti's because of its history going back to 1880. Renewed in style the traditional aesthetics were kept. Positively surprised, I especially liked the large executive room I had booked, more like a suite. It had all I needed and the king bed was comfortable. Not much of a view though, so curtains stayed closed all day, since the window was facing a nearby wall with barbed wire on top. There was space in the bathroom, but the only problem was the enormous showerhead, which forced one to put on a shower cap just to let the water come out. Also the glass door to the cubicle didn't close well, so the whole bathroom floor got completely wet after each shower. Room service by two young men was good, but annoying was the fact that two managers in suits knocked at the door - on different evenings - saying that they were in charge of cleaning the room, pushing for a tip at the same time. This was not in style with the hotel's standard, very much in contrast to the always friendly and helpful porters by the entrance. A good choice of items is to be had at the breakfast buffet, cooked and non-cooked, also several Pakistani newspapers in English are available. Unlike at breakfast time, in the late afternoons and evenings the restaurant filled up with local customers, so I regularly had my dinner in the room. There was plenty to chose from, but I always went for local food. There is outdoor seating available at a lawn, part of the hotel grounds, but nowhere to walk to outside the hotel.

A beautiful Hotel in Colonial style in the heart of Lahore. The rooms are very well kept and spacious. Good restaurant that offers a big variety of dishes. The location is great to visit the sights of the city. It feels like an Oasis in this noisy and busy town.

Overcharged for meals not eaten, even though 3 days advance notice was given. Staff came into rooms regularly, interrupting and disruptive, ant times without knocking, asking directly for tips daily. Mosquitoes in room each night. Toiletries missing from beginning and never replenished. Could not get an iron for ironing. They hovered over me while I ironed my clothing and immediately took it back each night

Booked and they transfered me to other hotel and no reservation were made there.Was waste of money
