"Excellent ! Family from France staying here. Wonderful time had by all. We gathered to have evening dinner, and drinks, and catch up, photos etc. Food excellent. Service excellent. Lovely room. Lovely staff who exceeded my expectations. Great communications from many at the Hotel prior to the stay occasion. A VERY BIG thank you goes to Receptionist Emma. Very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, elegant. A great experience to us from all at the Falcondale. Appreciate your attention and integrity. Well done."
The Black Lion Royal Hotel
"Checking in got done eventually. Was asked what time I wanted breakfast, it started at 7am, we decided 8am. Could not gain access to the restaurant at 8am, had to go out the night exit. To be greated by the chef (Alex) who had been there since 7am, waiting for the manager to turn up. The maintenance guy let him and us in, when the manager eventually turned up, words were exchanged with the chef about not calling him... not the chefs fault, you should have given him a key! No apology for leaving us outside in the cold, got our breakfast at 9.15am. Food in the evening was good, sarah who served us most mornings was brilliant. Last morning, manager Francesco is RUDE, he made no effort to greet his paying guests! I asked what his name was, which he overheard and he confronted me about why I asked for his name! I have been in the hospitality business myself and I have never been spoken to the way he spoke to me. Rude is an understatement, confrontational, his words..." I like to stay in the background"... here's a tip, stay out of the hotel business then... that will be my last stay with you."

"We travelled to Lampeter for the Welsh Indoor Rowing Championships. We needed some where near the event location and not too far from local amenities. The Evangelisa ticked all the boxes. PLEASE do not let the photo of me by the bedroom door put you off... I am over 6ft 4in and the rest of the B&B is 'tall person' friendly... i wanted to add the photo to show it's quirkiness. I loved it! The rooms are warm, quiet and well equipped. The owner welcomed us warmly and when we said we were getting a take away were on hand to set a table for us and provide plates and glasses. The breakfast was awesome and you will get well fed. A MUST IF VISITING THE AREA and we will defo be staying again when we visit. Thank you."
Go Eco Glamping
"Was a wonderful place me and my wife have never been clamping before so was a new experience for us so did not know what to expect. When we first arrived we were welcomed by Chris and Carol was a lovely warm welcoming. They showed us to the accomodation we were in the meadow view was a stunning view over looking the surrounding area which was breathtaking. Then we went into the hut picture did not do it justice the detail was lovely the lights and the furniture and all the little things like the puzzle and books there was a lot of character and thought had gone into everything . Also everything was so clean and well maintained.After we unpacked we went into the hot tub that was warm on arrival and watched the sun go down it was magical. Had a shower after that there was plenty of pressure in shower and was enough heat . Then spent the rest of the night cuddled up by the fire . Bed was comfortable and the heat from the log burner kept us warm though the night had 3 amazing nights here . Highly recommend originally went to get away from the stress from work and went away feeling relaxed. Thanks once again Carol and Chris was lovely meeting you both and can't wait to return"
