DDaniel RodThe hotel is located fairly centrally in the island of Pingtan in a small village. Its exterior is nicely decorated with lights, and if you arrive late at night like we did, you’ll thank for that, as it shines like a beacon in a otherwise not very well lit street. The service shone from the beginning. One of the staff was ready to help us with our luggage and show us in, and there was no delay with the registration of my passport (something that as any foreigner that has travelled in the Chinese Mainland will be able to tell, is not something to take for granted), and was immediately added to WeChat, where through the entire trip I was kept updated on everything relevant to us as guests, from the time breakfast was ready, to the fact that a guest with a dog was going to stay in a room next to ours (to which they offered to change if we needed in case any of us was scared or allergic to dogs). Breakfast was always kept warm for us, even when we were coming down late and were not expecting it to be there, and in general the staff’s attitude was always what you would expect in a bigger, more established (and more expensive) hotel, but with a home-stay twist. The hotel is not very close to any scenic spot or touristic destination, but they offer a service of e-bike rental that we used through the trip, and that we’d recommend to anybody is staying here as it took transportation off the list of things we had to think about, and allowed us to fully take advantage of the central location of the inn. With 2 people per bike, going very far North, or South to the city (sometimes both in one trip), we never ran too close to empty our batteries. The room was clean, big enough, and as we were staying on the last floor and our door opened to a patio, very well ventilated. The patio also proved to be a nice place to sit and chill or eat, and I was able to make work I had to finish feel less of a sore in the middle of my holidays. The only things I’d add or change to the room experience are a place to hang clothes (there wasn’t any closet or the sort), the toilet paper (they offered tissues but they don’t feel the same when you want to, you know, keep your hands clean), and real towels (they offer disposable towels, but they’re just not the same). In conclusion, not only I would come back but I most certainly will, as I had an amazing trip and this inn played no small part in it. Would 100% recommend if you like less noisy, more home stay-ey atmosphere, and don’t mind to be a few minutes drive from the city.

Great location within SanfangQiXiang if you wish to explore this place since we can’t even finish visiting all the different cultural centres and the shopping in the bustling streets within the huge area in our 3 days 2 nights stay. Breakfast is vegetarian but variety is huge and good. Staff has been so friendly and helpful. They gave us tips about exploring useful apps in China especially for overseas tourists like us. They even helped us book our massage, send detailed instructions to help us navigate and helped me with rejecting my purchases when the delivery came later than I had expected. The whole ambience around the hotel and the room access to the beautifully designed gardens gave us a lasting impression. The warmth of the staff team lingers on and set the standard so high that we inevitably compared with the next hotel we went and can’t help to keep thinking about how much better the staff here has been! Regardless who are on duty, all have been so helpful! Rooms are extremely clean and smells good! Everything looks pretty new and the bed is very comfortable. The pictures provided by the hotel are as good as what we saw and experience!

MMark O’ConnorI’m a foreigner, from Canada. No affiliation to this hotel. Location is perfect. Maybe 5km from the airport. I took Didi from the airport just after midnight, and it cost 20rmb. Not sure how long it took… maybe a little over 10 minutes. I guess 15 minutes would be the maximum time needed at any time of day. It could be faster. Front desk service was very friendly, polite, and quick. The girl didn’t use English, but she used translation software. Very easy check-in. I only waited about 4 or 5 minutes for the guest in front of me, and the girl was going fast and apologized a couple times. Very nice service. The room is great. It’s super clean, and everything looks new. It’s not a large room, but it’s totally fine for my layover to get several hours sleep before I go back to the airport in the morning. I’m in the basic room and paying about 250rmb. I’m very happy with this price for what I’m getting. The bed is firm, but not too firm. I like it. I’ll sleep well I think. Honestly, I’m a bit surprised at how nice this is for the price. I doubt this location is great if people want to stay a few days and do sightseeing, but I’m not sure. I think for an airport layover this is fantastic. That’s why I wanted to write this review before I moved on and forgot about this. I didn’t order the breakfast, so I can’t comment. They also offer a free shuttle at 5am, 6am, 7am and 8am. I will probably use Didi because those times are a bit off for my 9:30am flight, but I think that service is great. Great hotel, and so far, it’s very quiet at night. No noise. I will definitely choose this place again if I need a hotel close to Fuzhou airport for a layover.

IInvitéThis is the our first visit to Fuzhou. I traveled with my husband and my mum. I booked 4 different hotels for a total of 9 nights in Fuzhou. Narada is the second hotel. We stayed for two nights at the private hot spring wing. Was given free upgrade upon checking in. We were then driven to our rooms by the lovely front desk lady, Xiao Li (前台小李). She is very professional, super helpful as the moment we got out of the cab, she carried all our baggages. Throughout our trip, she is always there to answer all our questions and is very warm and personable. The next morning, we then called the front desk for the buggy to pick us up to the main hotel side for breakfast. The spread is very good with both Chinese and Western cuisine. The chefs are very nice and approachable. I want to take this chance to thank the restaurant waitress, Chen Hong (陈虹). Every morning we were greeted by her superb service. She shared with us about the culture, food and places to go in Fuzhou. She really go out of the way to make us feel welcomed. Checking out was a breeze too. We just called the front desk and leave our keys in the room and head off. We then made our way to next hotel nearer to the city centre. We were shocked by the condition as the surroundings and the exterior of the hotel looked so rundown and dirty. We then decide to go back to Narada. We were again served by Xiao Li (前台小李). The moment she saw us, she immediately came to us asking if there’s anything she can help us with. We told her about our horrific encounter at the other hotel and she helped us arrange for 2 rooms at the main hotel side. She even brought us up to see the rooms before committing the stay. We also met Chen Hong (陈虹) while waiting for the rooms, she was empathic and recommended other local places and events. We were so impressed by the rooms, the hospitality and the impeccable service by Xiao Li (前台小李) and Chen Hong (西餐厅陈虹) that we decided not to move in to the city centre and stayed here for 7 more nights before our flight back to Singapore. Big thumbs up to Narada Resort & Spa, Shoukai, Fuzhou. The people there are truly amazing. Thank you very much!

IInvitéLe restaurant se trouve juste en face du Yunxiang Express de l'aviation civile. Il va à l'aéroport toutes les demi-heures et coûte 31 yuans. Il y a une gare routière en bas de l'hôtel. Il y a de nombreux restaurants sur le site. côté gauche de la route quand vous sortez. Il y a une cantine n° 㐅 à côté, je ne me souviens plus de quelle cantine il s'agit. Les matériaux sont frais, l'environnement à l'intérieur du restaurant est hygiénique et le prix n'est pas cher. Nous avons voyagé indépendamment et avons choisi le bon hôtel. L'hôtel propose également du thé blanc, du goji, des dattes rouges et du chrysanthème.
