Most things about this apartment are great - easy access, right next to a supermarket, clean and spacious room. Nice communal area and kitchen with breakfast food and coffee machine. The person at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Wifi worked well. Was notified that housekeeping is every 4 days. Easy 10 minutes on the bus from Leicester station/city centre. I would recommend bringing noise-cancelling headphones if you are a light sleeper. It is next to a busy road and the walls are VERY thin. I was kept up on several nights by the person in the next room snoring, shouting over the phone at 6am, and listening to loud music throughout the night. Not the hotel’s fault and hopefully not a fixture, but given the other reviews, bring headphones!

Grande emplacement central avec parking, utilisant une des chambres de conférence, bien qu'un ancien hôtel le personnel était toujours utile, et vérifié tout était à notre aimable, le déjeuner sandwich était le meilleur que j'aie eu à un hôtel, était imaginatif, J'étais ici pour travailler, mais le travail ou le loisir reviendrait heureusement la prochaine fois que je serai à Leicester.

Very impressive hotel, very friendly and professional staff, great room and a superb restaurant. Nothing to fault, enjoyed our stay. Secure park, essential when travelling in a 65 year old car. Special mention to Mo on reception who greeted us after a long journey and was very welcoming and helpful!

Now the OYO Blaby Hotel. In would have given a higher score but they don’t yet have a restaurant. However they are soon opening a South Indian restaurant which will be a real improvement. The front of the hotel needs some renovation as do the garden areas around the car park but work seems to be underway. The staff were very friendly and helpful with our early check in. We had room 31 which is a family room. It was very big with a TV lounge area and double bed, a big ensuite bathroom and a separate area with two single beds. It was a bargain as we paid £90 for three of us. Although it doesn’t currently have a restaurant it is next to a Chinese restaurant and very close to the Old Vicarage pub which serves food plus several good cafes in Blaby who serve breakfast. There is also a well equipped gym in the hotel included in the room price. An absolute bargain.

Les petits-déjeuners étaient excellents pour la personne moyenne, mais comme quelqu'un qui mange peu de charbon, j'étais limité, mais savais cela quand je l'ai payé, beaucoup de nourriture disponible au buffet. Il y avait un peu de bruit de la part des personnes ivres qui passaient par la rue, mais c'était une nuit de vendredi, donc pas la faute de l'hôtel et ne durait pas très longtemps. Pas de bruit, quel que soit l'intérieur. Globalement, très heureux de mon séjour, grande valeur pour de l'argent.

We were travelling as a band, group of 6. Had travelled from Glasgow to Nottingham the previous day to play a gig, then onto Leicester and London. The owner had phoned the previous day to inform us that there was a problem with one of the rooms, seemed very polite and apologetic and would organise accommodation elsewhere for 2 of our group. We were fine with this. However, upon arrival we were informed by the guy managing the place currently (as the owner was out with some health related issues) that we all had rooms there. The rooms were open and keys were in the drawers. We went upstairs and only the 3 bed room was made up and another guest was still staying in one of the rooms and was out at work so we wouldn't get that room until later. Our group all hung out in the 3 bed waiting on the other room being made up. The ”manager” stood at the door of the room for over an hour talking nonsense and sharing details that no-one needed to hear instead of making up the other room. The worst possible scenario when you've just travelled 6+ hours and played a gig the previous night. The ”manager” took 2 of our party into the 2 bed room to get it made up (no reason for this, just wanted to talk more nonsense). The 2 bed room had obvious signs of water damage (most likely the room the owner had phoned the previous day about). Brown damp spot on the ceiling in the corner of the room, the wallpaper peeling off the wall and the room smelled awful. Previous guests things were still in the drawers. One of the beds in this room got made up in that time and he had to leave to get another sheet, never came back. Our group decided to just get out of the place for the time being. We arrived back later to pick up our gear to go soundcheck at the venue down the road and the rest of the rooms had been made up. We returned later that night and couldn't get in the front door so we phoned the number asking to call for access. This was the owners number I had spoke with the day before and he sounded genuinely surprised that we hadn't been given the access code. We got in and went upstairs before going to bed, on of the boys flipped his pillow and found what appeared to be blood stains on the pillowcase. We all slept on top of the duvets that night in our clothes because we didn't trust that anything was clean and got up early the next morning to leave as soon as possible to head for London. We had booked the breakfast in advance but we didn't want to chance that either knowing what state the rooms were in. Overall, an unpleasant and uncomfortable stay. Would not book again given this experience and anyone looking to I would hesitate until the owner manages to sort out the problems with staff and the condition of the place. It's a shame because I'm not sure the owner actually knows how the place is currently being run.

Nous étions malheureux de rester ici pour une seule nuit, mais je n'ai pas lu les commentaires avant de réserver... Je ne ferai pas cette erreur à nouveau et j'espère en lisant cela qu'il vous évitera la même douleur.

Leicester a été un établissement de première qualité , mais nous n' avons pas été déçus . Nous avons pu parquer dans un parking sûr très proche et nous sommes à quelques minutes de l' Université , des magasins et des restaurants . La chambre était très spacieuse avec 2 lits, thé et café , sèche-cheveux et un tableau de fer et une douche en suite , tout était propre et très confortable . Les frais de voyage sont très bons pour les voyageurs et les voyageurs sont très bons pour les voyageurs et les voyageurs sont très bons pour les voyageurs et les voyageurs sont très bons pour les voyageurs . Le parc de voiture que nous avons utilisé coûte seulement £ 10.00 du déjeuner le samedi jusqu' à 16h30 le dimanche .
