"Small but nice house. Not cheap, but nothing is cheap in Lech.....My single room (with parquet flooring) was spacious enough, nice and clean bathroom. The bed has a good mattress, the duvet was too warm for me personally (but that's a matter of taste). The kettle in the room was very practical! The breakfast buffet is great! Very good selection of different things! The homemade muesli is a highlight!! I will definitely come back!"

"Worst service I ever experienced in te restaurant. The staff didn’t know the todays special when being asked. It took one hour to get our food and we got in different times so most of us had to eat alone. Didn’t get our drinks to our food. Would not recommended a visit to their restaurant with those prices I would think the service was ok but it was worse than I ever experienced. Super disappointed!!!"

"We stayed at this hotel for an unforgettable ski week. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by a super friendly staff that made us feel at home and this was usual every time we met them in the lobby. Rooms are very spacious with great views of the mountains. There is a T-bar lift just 20 mts from the hotel which is a plus. The hotel is located aprox 700 mts from Lech main street but walking has never been a pain (although you have to consider taking a taxi if you arrive at Lech in public transport). Breaksfast is really outstanding with many options both sweet and salad. There is a relax area for apres ski with both a sauna and steam bath but no jacuzzi. My only suggestion would be to offer a kettle with tea/coffee options in the room, but for the rest I would definetivley chose Hinterwies again."

"From the moment we arrived at the wonderful Knappaboda Appart Hotel, until the day we left, the Walch family did everything to ensure a perfect stay. This place is exceptional! Their service and attention to detail was simply outstanding - they simply went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. The design of the appartments is world class - every last detail has been thought about to deliver a dream like experience. It is a perfect concept for the best holiday. Stay in? We found out what's not to love in the Appartments, spacious, loads of room to relax, chill & cook when we felt like it, and also go out when we want (+ the supermarket is just 2 minutes away!). We found it perfect for adults & kids (they love kids!), but at the same time peaceful. In summary we found the atmosphere & decoration beautiful, relaxing & welcoming - and Gertrud & Conny are the perfect hosts. And, finally, located just next to the slopes makes it the ideal location to go out on the snow quickly and get home with total ease at the end of the day. Highly recommend to try it out!"

"Our family of 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 10, 8, and 7) spent a wonderful week in the chalet earlier this summer. Chalet: The chalet is beautifully designed with natural solid materials (lots of wood!). It feels cosy yet light and bright, it was very clean and comes complete with all mod-cons. It’s set over three floors, with the open plan living area on the ground floor, and the 3x bedrooms, bathrooms and sauna on the lower ground and first floors. The beds were really comfy. Lots of storage in the bedrooms too. Views and sounds from the chalet balcony are stunning - fresh mountain air and the sound of the flowing river beneath the chalet! There’s also a small BBQ plus table / chairs outside too, so you can sit and take it all in. The chalet was cleaned daily and a delicious breakfast was provided daily (a real highlight - beautifully set out on the dining table at our chosen time, including plenty of juices, pastries, cereals, fruit, meats, cheeses etc). The host offers other services too but we didn’t use these. Host: The host was incredibly warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful to our whole family - before our arrival, throughout our stay, and on leaving too! Location: Not only is the chalet is located within walking distance of the center of Lech (approx 10 mins), it is located just 5 mins from the outdoor forest swimming complex, and on the doorstep of some stunning hiking routes. Surrounding area: We’ve now visited Lech in summer and winter. Winter = fabulous ski resort; Summer = fabulous for hiking, biking, relaxing + really great kids daily program (archery, canyoning, climbing, etc). There are some wonderful restaurants too - both up in the mountains and at resort level. The resort has plenty to offer!"

"Notre famille a eu l'occasion de passer une semaine à Lech Lodge en janvier et mars 2026. En janvier, comme l'année précédente, nous sommes restés dans le plafond, qui est absolument merveilleux en termes de taille et de cuisine. Nous étions 5 adultes et 2 enfants, et tout était parfait. Nous avons été un groupe de trois pour les premiers jours et ensuite cinq (3 adultes et 2 enfants). Nous avons eu de grands temps, beaucoup de neige, et surtout, nous avons eu Sabine et Slobi, qui, comme les années précédentes, nous ont emportés avec leur équipe. Les raisons sont la conduite relativement courte, sans stress (2.5 heures), les magnifiques chalets de l'Loge, la zone de ski et l'environnement naturel, le parfait emplacement pour les chiens, mais surtout les soins fournis par les propriétaires Johanna et Klaus Moosbrugger, Nous attendons déjà notre prochaine séjour au Lodge, probablement en janvier prochain."

"Our family of five spent 10 nights at Alpina hotel in Lech and next time we will stay longer! It was the perfect choice for us - we are so glad we booked it. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment which gave us all space (we have three teenagers) and a kitchen so we didn’t always have to eat out, but we had the luxuries of being in a beautiful boutique hotel. A delicious and varied breakfast each morning, afternoon tea served every afternoon by the fire. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They asked us if there were any other foods we would like served for breakfast and afternoon tea etc. The service was so personalised and warm - it’s just a very special place. We also loved the sauna and steam room, which we used each afternoon after returning from skiing or a lovely walk around town or along a hiking trail. We had the opportunity to chat with other guests from around the world - many of whom have been returning to this hotel for decades (one guest told me she used to sit at the same breakfast table as us with her children 30 years earlier!). Bruno and Gabrielle were always available to help with any enquiries, including making restaurant reservations and ensuring we were given a lovely table at the best restaurant in town. We have skiied in a number of places - including in Switzerland - and this place is our favorite. The location is fantastic - very short and easy walk to the ski lifts, all restaurants and the supermarket. You can’t do better. Book it!!"

"The hospitality and kindness of the staff are superb. As a solo traveler you can feel alone from time to time - here I felt at home. My journey didn't start well because of a mistake in the booking(a mistake from my side), so I didn't get access to a room which met the demands I had. But the staff and the way they met their guests soon made me forget about it, and I just enjoyed hanging in the public areas and working from there If there is room for me next time I am in Lech, then I without a doubt want to stay here again."
