Imerti Resort Hotel

A weeks get away to relax and unwind in the resort of Skala Kallonis. The Imerti hotel was a great little hotel only a short 5minute walk to the resort centre. Lovely warm welcome when we arrived. The two brothers Stratos and George were great hosts always friendly and chatty to guests and you can see why they have many returning guests. Room: We booked a standard double as we were only going for a week’s break. Room was really clean with plenty of storage and wardrobe space, with lots of hangers. Maid came in daily and changed towels 3 times over the week. Bathroom: i may be being picky but I would say our room does require an upgrade on the shower cubicle, shower tray stained, however the mixer tap shower was great with plenty of hot water. We did see 2 other rooms and their bathrooms looked much more modern. Breakfast: was lovely ,plenty of choice for everyone. The fresh Greek yoghurt was lovely. Only one coffee machine may have to wait a little bit no major issue. Great to have a proper taster. Pool: I didn’t go in pool as it was cold but that’s the time of year, one issue is the amount of leaves that are in pool even though we could see that it’s was netted in the morning. Sun loungers are basic yes but plenty of them. Well spaced out and each with umbrellas. Pool Bar: Lovely choice of food. We had Greek salad, pizza, omelet, club sandwich and Gyros over our week all were cooked well. Our favourite being the gyros asked for extra pitta and was great to share. Small water only 50c so no need to go to shop as cheap enough at hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel and resort to others.

Just done a week in the Imerti hotel and all l can say is that we will be back. It's the first time we have been to Lesvos, we both have an interest in wildlife, and Skala kallonis is ideally placed for all the sites. The hotel itself is family run, and they can't do enough for you. A lot of the guests we learned come regularly, so that can't be a bad sign can it? The place is spotlessly clean, and the main square is 5 minutes walk away, with a selection of delightful restaurants and bars. (Caprice comes highly recommended). The whole experience was totally delightful and relaxing. Can't wait to return. David and Donna.

Just back from another visit to our favourite place. Been a return visitor for 20 years, originally run by father Iannis, now by his sons Stratos and Giwrgos, Clean, comfortable, friendly small hotel with the best hosts anyone could ask for. The number of returning guests present speaks for itself, the owners cannot do anything more to make your holiday special. Already booked to return for a whole month next year, and cannot wait. this place is a special gem that we will love forever. Thank you for another amazing stay.

What a great little find, the hotel is family run and both Stratos and George were friendly and helpful as were all the staff. Rooms are basic but comfortable and spread over three blocks. Breakfast gives you a good choice on the continental side, with fried egg, bacon and beans every other day. The pool is a good size for the hotel and there are plenty of sun-beds without the need for the 6am towel laying exercise. The pool bar is well stocked and well run and the food is very good. The hotel is a leisurely 10 minute stroll into the village square and beach where bars and restaurants can be found. All in all, a well run friendly hotel and we were lucky enough to have a great bunch of guests there at the same time.

The best compliment you can give a hotel is to return and after two wonderful holiday's we were back...but for longer. A fantastic welcome from our hosts Stratos and George and we even had our 'old' room as it suits us perfectly. The breakfast seemed better this year with plenty of choice to suit all taste's. You feel like friends not guests and the staff take so much trouble to make your holiday one to remember. Quiet and chilled around the freshwater pool but with relaxing music and snacks and drinks from the pool bar. No fighting for sun loungers and at this time of the year no kids even though at times the pool area looked like a scene from 'cocoon'. We used to go to the pool and have a couple of breaks back at the room where we had a coffee and salad sandwich as the rooms have a full size fridge and you can get great beef tomatoes and cheese and ham from the local shops for pennies. I measured the walk to town at .28 of a mile with runkeeper so its about 500 yards but flat as a pancake to choose between 8 or 9 good restaurants all excellent and cheap our favourite being Sampo right on the beach. Not much to do after you have eaten for non drinkers but for a relaxing chilled holiday unbeatable. Good little airport with a surprising good duty free and fresh food to buy to take on the plane even after you have gone through passport control. Back to the Imerti I cannot recommend the hotel or the owners highly enough , lovely people, great location and for us 10 out of 10. Out thanks for a great holiday. See you next year Mister John Cannot leave without a special mention for the Jet2 reps Simon ( who was on holiday himself ) but still helped us, Sharon and Joanne who located an item I had lost and brought to my around the pool after about 4 days, first class service

We spent 2 weeks at The Imerti Hotel for the 3rd year in a row The same warm welcome from George and Stratos .Their greek has improved since the last time we were there. The hotel is lovely and all the staff are friendly and always helpful. Imerti is ideally placed for going to the village of Skala kalloni with several nice tavernas and to get around island generally. If you're thinking of coming to Lesvos you can do better than Imerti Hotel. I'm not on commission from George and Stratos for writing this by the way - it's all true !
