Banshan Yicheng · Banshan Designer Viewing Casu (Lijiang Ancient City Dashuiche Shop)

The first thing I need to say is that the hosts were super welcoming and took great care of us. They made us feel like part of their small community and family. The location is top notch, you get the best view of the city. If you want calm and serenity you’ll have it, if you want to feel the buzz you have the busy shopping and bar street just down the hill, not even one minutes walk. The room were big and clean. Thanks for making our stay so great.

This is a cool little hotel. They guys who run the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. They met us at the entrance to the old town and carried our luggage. I really enjoyed having tea and chatting with them. The location is quite close to the main gate of lijiang ancient town. The noise might be a little loud at night for light sleepers, but we always use ear plugs to sleep and had no problem. The beds/pillows were comfortable. Best we had on our Yunnan trip. Breakfast was a bit limited, but good. The golden retriever dog FanTuan is very well behaved and very cute and friendly. The room was nice and clean. The shower pressure was good, and the water was hot. The balcony was nice to enjoy the view.

We had a nice relaxing trip and enjoyed staying at this boutique hotel located within the Lijiang ancient town. Our room has a lovely view of the old town and it was nice to sit by the opened window and enjoy the complimentary afternoon tea. The room was comfortable and had good amenities. The staff were all very friendly and helpful especially Mr Liu who recommended us good restaurants. Thank you!

Located conveniently inside the Ancient city of Li Jiang, this boutique designer hotel exceeded all of our expectations! The views from the hotel room and from the public terrace were incredible and the bathtub was a great way to relax after a long day of walking the ancient city. We very much enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea which came with tons of little desserts that were exceptionally delicious. The manager was very attentive and passionate about tea. He is a tea expert that is part of a group that grows tea and the tea we enjoyed on the terrace was sourced by him and his group. We got to try the red tea that had just been released this year. He also gave us a few food recommendations around LiJiang which we checked out. He also helped us arrange transportation from the hotel to the train station. Note: The photos of the room shared in this review are not of the ones we booked on Trip.com. We ended up upgrading our room on site opting for the better views! Highly recommend this hotel if you're planning your stay in Li Jiang!

Very nice facility and clean. Good hospitality and service mind even not able to communicate in English (use wechat to translate) Near the Wheel, symbol of Old town, but not loudly and cloudy. Good to relax with superb view May not fit with old people as located on the mountain

The room is clean and tidy. It is a voice control system. Everything is convenient and comfortable. The view is very good. All the staffs take good care of us. It was raining on the day we went, so we didn't see the mountains very well. If we have a chance next time, we will definitely stay here.
