The Park Inn is conveniently located near the historic part of town. I was there for a week on business. I will never stay there again. The thermostats in the room cannot be lowered below 20 degrees (C) and I was awoken every night due to overheating. When I asked to have it lowered, the answer was "we believe in being ecologically responsible" and so cannot lower it. I was told to open the window, The loud ringing from the nearby bells added to my lack of sleep. In this same vein of "environmental responsibility", the bathtub took exactly 1.5 hours to fill with hot water due to the low water flow rate from the faucet. All I can say is that there is environmental responsibility and then there is the customer experience. This is a hotel and a hotel is suppose to be in the hospitality business and about customer service. I have informed my company of the shortcomings and our corporate recommendation will now be changed to another hotel.
