"A lovely hotel, made fabulous because the staff are so friendly and helpful. A really nice breakfast and great location. The bathroom although clean have some staining in the sink and bath but only due to age not dirt. Would definitely recommend and would stay again."

"I booked to stay here for one night with my daughter, who was performing in a show at the town hall (a stone's throw from Gales). We were made to feel so welcome by the staff, and the breakfast was DELICIOUS. French toast with strawberries and cream was a particular hit, and the scrambled eggs were the best I have had anywhere. It was so good, we booked for a second night too. We were really glad we did. The whole place is such a treat. The bed was really comfy, and the wine bar is a very special place where locals and visitors mingle in the cosy atmosphere. The room was toasty warm, and the towels are huuuuuuge!! (big plus from me!). The staff were all superb, but a special mention for Robert, who was the person we saw most, and he was very friendly and engaging with my daughter. We had a very special time and would love to stay again. Yes, you can hear the street noise if you are 'street side', and yes you can hear if the person above you comes back at 03:50, but who cares? The rest of the positives more than make up for this. "

"a real gem Jamie was so great he made us felt so welcome ,and explain every thing lovely man ,the place is great smells so lovely every where ,and so very very clean ,our room was so clean really comfy slept the best ,and great wet room ,we had ground floor with double bed and bunk bed , the tea tray had so much on it ,the kitchen was great had every thing you need ,and plenty of room for people to eat again so clean ,the lounge was comfy and clean ,we stayed at many hotels but this was so good stay and cleaner and smelt nice than any one we stayed in and such good families ,would go back if in the area again thank you ,oh and get the parking ticket from them to save a lot of money and very quite their ,no tv but was nice not to have it xx"

"This house was absolutely beautiful, very clean and set up thoughtfully for our weekend stay as a family. Would deffo stay there again. Only thing I would say could be improved is the lighting on the top floor (wall lights didn’t work) and outside (minimal lighting) but that didn’t stop us having a brilliant time in such a beautiful house with stunning views!"
