The hotel and the surroundings are beautiful, a perfect escape into nature. Breakfast was okay, one choice of cereals, toast, delicious pancakes, egg station and a few Philippine dishes!
There are three remarks for this hotel:
1- we booked an airport transfer to the hotel, and there was no one waiting for us. We managed to called the hotel and they quickly offered to send someone, but factoring that the hotel is 1.5 hours away, we declined, and sorted out the situation by ourselves. Maybe for people that are in a tight schedule or are not used to manage in a new country, this would have been a problem.
2- when we arrived it was raining, all the rooms had umbrellas expect for ours… so we had to go back to the reception and asked for it. Not a big issue since it is warm but after the transfer, annoying.
3- we asked for a taxi to take us to Anda, the line was busy so the receptionist told us to come back later. When we did, there was no taxi reservation under our name. The hotel managed to get us another taxi, but again, for people under a tight schedule this would have been a problem.
Overall, since the installations are beautiful and the staff always polite, I give this hotel a 4. But in case you are following a tight schedule, always double check with them.
