Hyde Park Suites

Check in was easy everything was email. Where it gets bad is when you think of suite you think open room large enough bathroom space to move perhaps some climate control. Didn't really see a chance to book a different room and that’s probably my fault. Our friends booked the same place and their room was completely different as ours and they chose nothing different. Walk into the room and the door barely opens beyond the bathroom wall. It was so hot and the climate control must have been for props as it didn’t work and the heat was just unbearable. Opened a window but no airflow due to having walls on both sides of the room. I could almost sit in my bed and use the bathroom the bed was a full size (US) double (EU) once in the bathroom 1 person barely fit in shower I’m not a big person but I’m not small either. No place for bathe amenities storage as a small sink was the only place to put things. Back to the room the table that faced the bed once opened allowed 0 foot traffic from one side to the other. The next morning I immediately looked for a new place to stay and unfortunately lost 400$ I would not recommend this stay and wonder how it got 3 stars.

Very happy with our room and stay. Was expecting something bad after reading reviews (after booking). Maybe we got lucky but the room and bed were big enough, it was clean, the bathroom was modern, and came with other things we weren't expecting like a fridge and a fan. Temperature was great, much needed after a 30 degree day! Only couple of negatives were it was difficult to get a good temperature on the shower because hot is HOT. Literally seems to go 0 coldest 100 hottest. No elevator so I imagine a higher floor is a problem, we were on 2nd floor room 202. Also I really liked the Bluetooth key, but it does give mild anxiety in the build up to staying having to download an app, wait for emails for codes and then pretty poor instructions, then wondering what happens if phone does/gets lost etc. There is a buzzer on the door but don't know what hours this is manned as there isn't a reception as such. Overall, was comfortable, clean, quiet and well located for the tube and had everything we needed. The street it is on is pleasant. Highly recommended for going to BST festival or other events at Hyde Park, a few stops on the tube. One of the cheapest stays on a weekend in the Summer around central London. If in doubt by other reviews then see if you can reserve room 202. Would stay again

After reading some reviews, we were genuinely dreading coming to see what the room was like, but was so pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, had all the necessary facilities, and we slept well with no noise. Don’t get me wrong it’s not luxury, but you get what you pay for and this was a cheap and cheerful place that I genuinely would stay in again if I had to stay in the area. Don’t let the other reviews put you off. The other rooms may be different but our room 202 was nice, as you can see on the photos we took. For the price you pay it’s definitely worth it.

I would never ever advise anyone to stay here. I wouldn’t let my dog stay here. Rude filthy and not worth even half of the money charged. There are so many other lovely places. Go anywhere else. When I emailed about our concerns the author of the reply “Milagris” basically told us that all the issues we had were our own fault and then warned us not to leave a negative review online. Stay clear. We found another lovely spot just a couple of blocks away for the following nights. SKIP THIS DUMP

We payed £100 for one night here on 11th October, hands down the worst place we've ever experienced in this city! The pictures and price tag suggested this would be a good place, we were greeted with a half an hour check in because our room key didn't work, the owner Hassem not replying to the receptionist regarding the issue and does not care in general. Fortunately she sorted it, we opened the door (wished we hadn't!) To find what looked like a 'superior studio' BEFORE it had been renovated into something worth renting out! Filthy, very very shabby and dated, it felt like stepping into an attic that had itn't been touched for years! MOULD in the bathroom, marks all over the walls, sticky roughed -up dirty floors, there was a plate in the cupboard with BLOOD spatters on it, I've never seen anything like it. We stayed in ROOM 5, didn't think it could get much worse but the walls were paper thin, so noisy was woken at 4.30am, plenty of noise from above. NO HOT WATER for showers in the morning. Asked for a part refund as we were MIS- SOLD the room only to be told it was already half price!? (Can you believe it!) Avoid this like the plague, theres so much better for alot less!

Good afternoon, Unfortunately I am writing to you today to sadly complain about the room and service we were provided with on our wedding night after choosing to stay with yourselves. We originally chose your hotel because the pictures on the website portrayed an entirely different experience to the one we had with you last Friday evening. We arrived into a very beautiful and elegant building to where I though we would be staying, and were very abruptly told that we are staying a 10 minute walk from where we where. The weather at the time was atrocious, it was raining, window and cold and we then had to walk there with all of our luggage and bags arriving soaking wet, after originally getting a taxi straight to the door of what we thought our hotel was. We where then asked to pay another £200 deposit for the room despite us already having paid the £130, and when I actually saw our room there was nothing in there that required even a £20 safety deposit - it was awful. Once we were given our keys we were not very excited to finally get to our 'wedding suite' in room 206 or the awful one on the top floor. The door to this hostel style accomadation was already wide open From the main road, meaning just about anybody could walk in! I was in complete shock when we opened the hotel room door to find the smallest room that I had ever seen and you had the nerve to call this a suite? The entire room was very dated and unimpressive, as this was supposed to be our wedding night and expected something very special from you having paid £130!! I can only that we were given the wrong room because it states the prices on your website and we DID NOT receive the room we booked, paid for and was very much looking forward to. There was no sign of any room service and when I went to look for a member of staff nowhere to be found. I was absolutely devastated that this happened to us on our wedding night and I am completely disgusted by the lack of attention to your guests. I wish I would have read the reviews on this place before booking - I will NEVER stay here again and hope People think twice about throwing your money away!! This place was so bad - I didn't even stay on the room more than 5 minutes before grabbing our belongings and heading home - what a JOKE!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!! We stayed on Saturday the 3rd of OCTOBER in room 206! I very much look forward to hearing from you.

Before reading this review, bear in mind that wanted a basic self catering room at a good price, and this is what we got. We didn't intend spending much time in the room so wasn't looking for anything plush. That said, the bed was superb, very comfy, the shower was hot and powerful and the kitchen area had everything you'd need to prep a basic meal. The location was great being a 3 minute walk from Bayswater tube and 5 minutes from Queensway tube. We could reach the centre of London within 20 minutes of leaving our room when using the underground. Inverness terrace is a leafy street and was very quiet with little traffic passing by and was clean. There is a Maccy D's, KFC and Burger King all within 3 minutes walk and various Indian and Italian restaurants along with a couple of coffee shops. 3 or 4 great Greene King pubs are within a 10 minute walk and Kensington Park is less than a 10 minute walk. The main entrance door is secure, needing a 4 digit code to enter and individual suites had a pass card. The negatives are that the room is basic, was in need of some tlc and our room was on the ground floor, right next to the entrance door, which slammed shut every time anyone entered or left. However, all in all it was a great value room in an excellent location and we would stay here again.

When we arrived after checking in we were located at the very top of the building which was not easy get up there with our luggage.not ideal fir the older generation. The room was small and out dated lots of things needed looking at as broken etc. But the location was perfect as was close to everything we needed. Underground, shops Tesco's etc

E' davvero incredibile come si possa trascorrere una notte in una stanza/appartamento così piccola e allo stesso tempo così funzionale. Nonostante la dimensione della stanza/appartamento, c'era il bagno privato in stanza, un angolo cucina attrezzato, il wifi gratuito, appoggi, sedie... Bella esperienza!
