The Paramount Hotel

The only good thing about this hotel is it wasn’t that far from Earls Court underground. The reception is a cupboard under the stairs. To get to my room I had to go out into the back garden, down some stairs outside to my bedroom door. Very little room, just enough room for the bed and the door to open. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

My stay at Paramount was okay, especially because it was really cost-effective compared to other hotels in London. Although it was a bit of a hassle for me to get to central London or Victoria Station, which added extra Taxi or Uber charges, there’s no doubt the room was lovely. It had a good street view, and I slept well since the place was quiet. However, there were a few things I found disturbing. I would recommend assigning the nearest room possible to someone with a lot of luggage. I had almost three bags, and when I asked at the reception if I could leave them somewhere safe on the ground floor, as I was given a room on the third floor, the receptionist showed me a place but added that leaving them there was at my own risk. So, I had to take them up to the third floor on my own. If the hotel doesn't want to take responsibility for guests' luggage, why assign rooms on the third floor? I wouldn’t call it a terrible experience, but it wasn’t great in this regard. They really need to address this issue, especially since I mentioned it to her. Thankfully, I was only staying for one night.

hello everyone! Do you know Padington Bear? Well this is your hotel. The hotel is in a good area, a little far from the center but with the metro 20 minutes from everything interesting. 15 minutes away you have Fred's café for a good breakfast. supermarket relatively close. Returning to the hotel, the shower has good pressure, windows with views of the park. but the bed is narrow. If you go as a couple you may fall. because? Because you are not Padington Bear and remember, this is his hotel. It does not have an elevator, it has stairs and in the middle of the hallway there are paintings and mirrors. In a mirror, if you repeat Padington 3 times, the teddy bear looks like you at night and makes you your tax return. As in most hotels, they no longer do daily cleaning, but they miss a deeper cleaning between guest changes. The treatment is very good, very friendly and they let you keep your backpack even when checking out. That's why I give it a 6.5. If I had a bed just a little bigger so you wouldn't fall over it would be 7.5. Now, if you are Padington Bear who is reading this, it is for you. Y ahora, para nosotros jugadores... hola a todos! conocéis al osito padington? pues este es su hotel. el hotel está en una buena zona, un pelín alejado del centro pero con metro a 20 min de todo lo interesante. a 15min tienes el café de Fred para un buen desayuno. supermercado relativamente cerca. volviendo al hotel, la ducha tiene buena presión, ventanas con vistas a parque. pero la cama es estrecha. si vas en pareja posiblemente te caigas. por que? porque tú no eres el osito padington y recuerda, este es su hotel. no tiene ascensor, tiene escaleras y entre medias del pasillo cuadros y espejos. en un espejo si repites padington 3 veces se te parece el osito por la noche y te hace la declaración de la renta. como en la mayoría de hoteles ya no se hacen limpieza diaria pero se echa de menos una limpieza más profunda entre cambio de huéspedes. el trato es muy bueno, muy simpáticos y te dejan guardar la mochila aun haciendo el checkout. por eso le pongo un 6.5. si tuviera una cama solo un poco más grande para no caerte sería de 7.5. ahora bien, si tú quién está leyendo esto eres el osito padington, es para ti.

Booking made with *********** Arrived 21:00 to find a notice on the door that check in closed at 20:00. Upon finally gaining access I was told by the “manager” that they had tried to contact me during the day (they hadn’t) and hence had cancelled my room without notice. I was left stranded by myself in central London. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour and it seems they have history of doing this looking at other reviews.

I booked a room through *********** at a certain rate, and was informed this morning by the hotel that the price was incorrect, and that I had to respond within two hours to confirm the new pricing or else I would lose the reservation. This is high season; the hotel canceled my reservation because they realized they could charge a higher price. What a scam. Cannot believe business practices like this are allowed to exist in the UK.

It was a good Experience for me. Location wise its very convenient,they have complimentary coffee and tea self service 24/7 which is okay and some cookies which is good. My room is located at the basement, for the price of it is very reasonable,i leave the back door open at night and cold breeze is coming inside which is good. Bed is nice sleeping like a baby. And the room is dark when the light is off which i love. I will recommend it for my Friends for a good price and clean and good location. Sylvia who works as a front desk is very Accomodating.
