Updated 1950s Long Beach duplex with lots of original charm ○ 1 bedroom/1 bath ○ Queen bed with Leesa mattress ○ Tub/shower with original tile & new fixtures ○ Eco-friendly & organic soaps ○ Well-equipped kitchen with vintage stove + dishwasher ○ Smart Roku TV with apps ○ High speed mesh wifi network ○ Mini-split A/C & heat in living room & bedroom ○ Free, in-unit washer/dryer ○ Reserved driveway parking spot ○ Backyard with outdoor table & chairs ○ Walk to coffee shops, restaurants, bars ***New listing***This unit has been just updated/renovated and furnished as of April 2023. You can check out my profile to see reviews for my other properties, which always have high reviews for accuracy and cleanliness. Our manager, Sara, is a professional host and is available any time for whatever you might need. Approximately 600 square feet. New fridge, washer/dryer, tankless water heater, and mini split heat & A/C in living room and bedroom. Vintage/reconditioned Western-Holly stove. Original/refinished hardwood floors. Great location walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. 2 miles to Long Beach City Beach. We recommend 2 adults max as we have one bedroom and bed, with an en-suite bathroom. We put up to 3 people allowed on the listings as families might be okay with the setup. Kitchen has everything you need to make and enjoy meals at home: Caraway cookware, bakeware, cooking utensils, spices, vintage Mikasa dinnerware, flatware, glassware. New kitchen appliances: new retro-style fridge/freezer, dishwasher. Ninja blender, Keurig, electric kettle, microwave, rice maker, etc. Eco-friendly & organic dish and hand soap. Bedroom has queen size bed with very comfy Leesa mattress. Blackout blinds & curtains. White noise sound machine. Closet with dresser & hanging storage. Bathroom with original vintage pink tile, new brushed gold fixtures. Please note it is an original tub which is mostly in great condition, and is scrubbed thoroughly each time, though it has some small marks and imperfections even when it's clean and sanitized. Eco-friendly & organic soaps: EO shampoo, conditioner, body wash, Mrs. Meyers hand soap or similar. Living room with 55" Roku TV with apps (please use your own logins) and Roku streaming live TV stations, no traditional cable. Vintage peachy velour sofa, super comfy Restoration Hardware sofa chair. Corner desk with office chair. Mesh network with great wifi inside or outside. One reserved parking spot in garage. Spot will fit a standard car or up to mid-size SUV, but not any extra oversize vehicles. The area in front of the garage is spacious and and easy to get in and out of your car, but the driveway and garage spot are narrow. For long/monthly stays: we will supply a good amount of starter supplies of everything you'll need--all soaps, paper products, cleaning products, etc., however please note replenishing supplies with be up to guests during their stay. This is a duplex with 2 units/1 shared wall. The other unit has long-term tenants who are great neighbors and typically are pretty quiet but when sitting in the kitchen you might hear them at times. Please note as it is an older building, you can hear some sounds like water rushing when the other unit is using water fixtures. Please note that our neighboring building on the right side has their back doors along our driveway (4 units) and those tenants often enter or exit their building by walking onto our driveway. Our neighbor on the other side has some dogs that tend to bark when new people go into the backyard. We have a jar of treats, you can give to them which will usually stop them from barking, and we have a bark deterrent device, but they will still sometimes bark when you're in the yard. Quiet hours need to be respected from 10pm-8am. Guests have full and private use of the entire unit and backyard as shown. Even though the unit itself is fully private, please note this is a duplex which is attached on one wall to another unit. There is a ring security camera outside the front entrance which is always on and records upon motion detection. Please note: this is an attached unit and you will hear the neighboring tenant at times. There is also some typical street noise during the day. We provide a white noise machine for your comfort. This unit is in a diverse neighborhood representing people of a variety backgrounds. Please note there is no luggage storage before check-in or after check-out. If you'd like early check-in, make sure to request it in advance. In most cases we cannot offer it, but we will be happy to let you know in case it is possible (though we may not be able to let you know either way until the morning of check-in in many cases). It is EXTREMELY rare that we can offer late checkout, but if you request it in advance as well we will let you know if it's possible. Requests the morning of for late checkout are not possible due to the need to schedule our cleaners in advance. Guests are solely responsible to check themselves for personal items and remove them before check-out. If any items left behind are found, we take NO responsibility for their safekeeping in any way.
