Très sympa, à 1 km du centre donc faisable à pieds sinon il y a les tuk-tuk qui attendent devant, et très bonne ambiance tout les soirs

It is very clean and comfortable here. The price is cheap and comparable, close to the shopping center and not far from the city.

It's a little inconvenient because the location is on the outskirts of Rua Prabang. But there are also events every night to restore it. If you participate well, you can have a good time. And manager Poryea is very kind.

The terrible noise created by room door, chicken and uncooperative travelers have made the whole staying experience not quite pleasant. Sleepless nights for days, at last I am checking out

Réponse de l'établissement: Hi Stephen, thank you for bringing this to our attention. As soon as we learned of your review, the management team checked the door of the previous room that you had. However, the door works fine, and so do the others. As for the other guests, we do ask everyone to be considerate, and our security team will intervene when someone is disrupted to an extreme degree. Because it is a shared dormitory, other occupants come and go to the room as they wish. There are instances when they attend nighttime activities at the bowling alley, and if they come back from a night out, they might not be completely silent. We understand your frustration, but it is all part of the hostel experience. The noise coming from the chicken is out of our control as it is not owned by the hostel. We respect the local community as much as we respect our guests, and regrettably, we cannot ask the neighbor to take action about it as they value their livelihood. Please understand that these issues aren’t a reflection of the Mad Monkey service. Our apologies if we did not live up to expectations, but we hope you’ll give us another go soon and find out what we’re all about and what keeps so many great guests coming back for repeat stays.

Awesome place to stay. Great vibes! Nice bar to hangout! Really recommend for solo travelers. You won’t regret it !

Probably the best hostel I've stayed at. The pool isn't massive, but it's separate from the bar area which is nice, and they organise trips to other places

Great hostel especially for this price. You should definitely book it in Luang Prabang if you’re a solo traveler on a budget. Although Mad Monkey has a reputation of party hostel, I slept well and weren’t disturbed by any sounds because bar in the hostel shut down at 11pm. Female dorm was nice and clean. There are curtains for each bed, hair dryer in the bathroom, you can also rent a towel.

God. I should sad this hostel is amazing. Comfortable bed, large space, good service, good location, free swimming pool, cheap price. Can’t tell any shortcoming. You can even use your US dollar here.

Looks like a great place for young travelers on bikes. Out of the city center you must get a ride. Lots of people in sa room but comfy. Staff is very nice.

I didn’t make any travel plans, so I went directly to Luang Prabang after reading a vocabulary. When I was picking up my train ticket in Xishuangbanna, I met a girl. She said she booked the Mad Monkey Hotel and said it only cost about 40 yuan. I checked the website and it was more than 80yuan. I went to the waterfall the next day and my phone ran out of battery. When I came back, the price was 117, which was similar to the price of a single room in the hotel, but I didn't change accommodation. Although it is more expensive than any youth hostel I have stayed in before, it feels good, the staff is very welcoming, and it is convenient to eat and drink. I also rented a scooter for two days for $9.27 per day. Once my motorcycle broke down, they replaced it for me. When I left, the hotel owner called a car for me and we went to the airport . Thanks to the boss and staff for letting me see the passion of the Laotian people.
