Lunenburg Arms Hotel

The hotel is in a good location and has lots of parking across the street. The room was very basic, for the price, and the hotel provided 2 tiny little soaps to wash with. We thought it was a good experience until we checked out. The front desk clerk was very sarcastic and mentioned the form of payment (cash) several times. She then charged us a TIP on top of the room cost. We left feeling deflated and will NOT be recommending this hotel to anyone.

We had a very good stay here. Our room was huge & had a kitchenette. There were a couple of issues which we pointed out to the front desk. There are no safety grab bars beside the toilet & the shower is not a roll in shower. The wheelchair push button at the entrance was not working so anyone in a wheelchair would not be able to gain access to the hotel. There is an outdoor patio but we were unable to use it due to it being rented out to a TV film crew. We went & sat down a the wharf instead.

Had two wonderful nights in this hotel. Great location! No restaurant or breakfast, but lots of restaurants within walking distance. Nice clean rooms. There is parking across the street. They have a spa next door but you need to book early. Highly recommend this inn.

We were booked by Candvac to stay for two nights in this hotel, the only problem was this agency had not confirmed the fact with the hotel, so we arrived from England with a false confirmation and the hotel was full. Whilst this was no fault of the hotel, Judith on reception was most understanding of our predicament and went out of her way to find us alternative accommodation in another hotel. We cannot thank her enough, she is a wonderful ambassador for the Lunenburg Arms and also for Canadian Tourism. Which is more than can be said for Candvac who couldn't be reached by phone when I found out the news, I had to leave a recorded message. They subsequently apologised and said the problem was caused by a human error.

Everything about the place is outstanding. When we first arrived we were given the opportunity to view the room before we book. The women who worked the front desk were very welcoming and offered suggestions of places to eat. The housekeeping staff do an excellent job.Room is very clean. The location is ģreat to tour the town on foot. We took a room with a view and were not disappointed. We'll worth the money spent.

The room was great. The shops looked great. We had a huge window in our room which was great for watching hurricane Lee from. The second day we had no power from 8 AM till we left the next day at 9 Am. So all shops were closed on day two. We had little food, no coffee, no shower. we just sat there watching the hurricane. we asked for a discount and didn't get one. The hotel in general was ok.
