The property is well maintained. A nice waking trail around the grounds, kids play area, fire pit, guest laundry room and pool house. There are also great free activities like guided hikes and kayaking. I didn’t participate in any of them on this trip, but the menu of activities looks great. Free s’mores kits for the fire pit are a hit. That’s the “Pros” list. Now for the cons… DO NOT rent a master suite. They are on the lower level, which I knew, but the website does not give you a full description of the unit. So let me help you out… They sit below the two bedroom town home so you hear EVERYTHING the guests above you are doing. Walking, talking, slamming doors, everything. The website also does not mention 15 steep stairs to get down to the suite, and of course back up to go out (see photos). If you have even the slightest mobility issues, do not book this room. And do not bring a lot of luggage. Another con (at least for me) was the Bluefin Grill. They are supposed to deliver for guests, but the first night I was there they were not delivering. So I went to get take out. I ordered a salad and they left it sitting under a warning lamp. It’s a SALAD! Needless to say it was warm and soggy. The next night I called again for delivery - no answer. Tried calling 4 times and no answer. Since there are minimal eating options in this area, and everything closes super early, I went to Holiday station and got a frozen dinner. Overall it was a so- so stay, but the beautiful nature environment made that possible. The terrible meal and noisy upstairs neighbors made me feel like I could have spent my money elsewhere.
