When we first arrived at the hotel. The staff were so friendly and introduced themselves and gave us some water. Very polite and professional. We did have to wait around for about 15 minutes or so just in the outside bit before we were taken inside to the check in area and could actually check in but this was not too bad but it would have been helpful if the staff could have explained why we were waiting as we weren’t quite sure what was going on and why we weren’t being taken through. However, once in to the check in area the staff were all great and explained all about the hotel and facilities and where we could find everything and seemed genuinely friendly and happy in their jobs and genuinely happy to help which was something we really noticed and appreciated about the staff at this hotel. It is an all inclusive hotel and the experience really is all inclusive and everything from the food to the activities they provide is included. The food was of excellent quality and a really great variety every evening, we enjoyed the different theme nights they had and the street food market was exceptional and such a great vibe. We really had fun that evening. The theatre shows were lovely and you get to see all of the wonderful staff from around the hotel performing at these shows which was fantastic. We particularly enjoyed rock and ria and also the live music evening out by the pool. Overall this hotel provides brilliant evening entertainment and it’s something different each night. As well as all of this, there are lots of fitness activities you can join in with I really liked the aqua fit in the outdoor pool and the yoga/ pilates classes early in the morning. They also had an indoor pool and spa. Segways to hire, and lots of other brilliant activities taking place throughout the hotel. One thing is for certain, you will never get bored at this hotel. My husband and I had a lovely couples massage which was relaxing and overall a great treatment. The weather was very hot and so we didn’t stay for the indoor pool but went straight out back to the outdoor pools. The outdoor pool is wonderful and very big lots of space for everyone and some seating areas as well as a waterfall area which was so refreshing. There are also specific kids pool areas which were shallow and undercover from the heat which was nice for my friend and her baby. The day cabanas are extra and you can book them on the app. There are only a few so try to book them as soon as you can. My husband and I and our friends both did this one day and it was well worth the money as the sun was particularly strong that day and so we had the option to close the curtains from the side that the sun was strongest. The general seating area by the pool is also fantastic as there are plenty of beds and you can usually find one either in the shade or in the sun depending on your preference. Our room was absolutely lovely, extremely clean and spacious- with a hot tub which we unfortunately

Etape de 3 nuits avec deux enfants de 12 et 8 ans, aux vacances de Pâques. Belles prestations, calme (peu de monde dans l'hotel) et à proximité immédiate de la jolie ville de Tavira. Point de chute idéal pour visiter Faro et la partie Est de la côte de l'Algarve, plus authentique et moins fréquentée que l'Ouest. Petit déjeuner copieux varié et frais, servi sur le toit terrasse avec vue mer. Belle piscine (grandes serviettes fournies), salle de sport (non testée). Club enfants (non testé). Très bonne literie et bonne insonorisation. Chambre familiale et grande salle de bain. Café Nespresso gratuit. Seul bémol (mais qui ne nous a pas dérangé plus que ça) : en marge de la ville et d'une route très passante, ce qui oblige à prendre la voiture pour aller dîner, se balader, etc.

Making a return to this hotel was a pleasure for my friend and I . We had morning sun on our balcony with pool view, which was fine as the weather was very warm. The beds were comfortable but they creaked a lot ( the bases I think?) Storage space is limited but adequate. The safe was €17.50 for a week but it’s an expense we prefer for security. There is a hand pump for soap and showering/hair but we didn’t care for that, a bit harsh, so we bought soap and shampoo. Bring your own mini toiletries I would advise. Breakfast is wonderful, so much choice and the staff are so efficient and hard working to make sure everything is topped up. There is a problem with pigeons but efforts were being made to reduce the problem last week and any mess is mopped up very regularly. We had a very pleasant stay with friendly staff in the hotel and in the cafes/restaurants which are all within walking distance of the hotel. Brings comfortable shoes though as streets are all cobbled..

L'hôtel est très propre, amiable et le personnel est très bienvenu, agréable et attentif aux besoins de chaque client. Chambres très spacieuses, air-conditionnée et lumineuse. Le petit-déjeuner buffet est bien stocké et avec beaucoup de choix pour les besoins des clients. La piscine est un bonus en raison de la chaleur extrême de l'extrême, l'eau très froide et apprécierait l'eau de plus chaude. J'ai séjourné dans cet hôtel pour la deuxième année consécutive après que mon cousin ait célébré son mariage ici l'année dernière. J'adore cet hôtel. La nourriture est excellente, tout comme les services fournis par l'hôtel. Il y règne une ambiance très relaxante et paisible. Un merci spécial aux barmen : Keegan et Pedro ! Ils ont vraiment pris soin de ma famille et de moi. Ils nous ont très bien accueillis et bien traités. Ce sont tous deux des personnes très spéciales et intéressantes avec lesquelles j’ai vraiment aimé parler. Je suis heureux de les avoir rencontrés. Ils préparent également des cocktails fantastiques. Un autre merci spécial à l'équipe d'animation : ils ont déployé des efforts inlassables pour impliquer les clients dans des activités quotidiennes amusantes autour de la piscine et pour offrir des divertissements incroyables en soirée. Ce sont tous des artistes incroyables et très doués pour s'occuper des invités et les impliquer. Ils nous ont aidés à créer beaucoup de bons souvenirs pendant notre séjour ici. La touche personnelle de cet hôtel est définitivement là. L'île de Tavira se trouve à quelques minutes en bateau. Vous pouvez également prendre un taxi fluvial depuis l'embarcadère près de l'hôtel jusqu'à la ville de Tavira. J'adore l'ambiance de cet endroit et je pense que ce sera un hôtel que ma famille et moi voudrons visiter régulièrement à l'avenir pour nos vacances en famille. J'aurai certainement l'intention de revenir ici l'année prochaine pour me détendre et m'amuser. Merci Vila Galé Albacora, je vous verrai l'année prochaine !

Cette dernière a été ma troisième fois dans l'hôtel et certainement la plus décevante. Nous avons occupé deux chambres pendant trois jours. Six nuits au total. La raison de mon dégoût est que nous n'avons réglé la chambre que trois fois sur six, et que nous avons été en mesure de laisser les chambres à 10 heures du matin, de retourner à 3 heures et de sortir à 6 heures du matin. Nous avons communiqué à la réception et la réponse était qu'il fallait attendre à sept heures de l'après-midi, c'est l'heure limite de nettoyage. Ajouter aussi qu'une après-midi sans préavis, ils sont entrés dans la chambre de mes enfants avec eux et nous ont réveillé en appelant à la porte. Je veux dire, c'est la troisième fois que nous nous sommes logés à l'hôtel et jusqu'à présent très bien, mais cette fois-ci, c'est pas le cas. Nous payons beaucoup d'argent dans un hôtel 4 étoiles pour passer trois jours, je comprends que l'hôtel est plein, mais si vous avez besoin de plus de personnel, vous devez être recruté.

First time to the East Algarve Hotel was fantastic Fast wifi all over hotel and pool area Great position 100 mtrs from beach with long boardwalk Beach is superb and you can walk for miles each way. Close to a selection of bars, restaurants and supermarkets Room - large,clean,comfortable beds,large bathroom with great shower,free safe,free aircon. Cleaned every day. Staff - all helpful - special mention for Victor and Nicole in Bar Food - Breakfast - great selection of hot and cold food - Selection of eggs,bacon,sausage,beans,tomatoes,cereals,fruit,cold meats,cheeses,tea,coffee,orange juice plus good selection of bread/rolls plus fast toaster Dinner - soup,large salad selection,choice of 2/3 fish dishes and 2 meat dishes,potatoes,vegetables,rice,pasta,3/4 cakes,ice cream,fruit Bar - resonable prices, good selection of spirit brands,draught lager,bottled beer/cider,wine - Happy hour 17.00 to 18.00 half price - 2 large gordons gin and schweppes tonic 6.50 - cheaper than Wetherspoons Pool area - always clean with plenty of new sunbeds - pool looked nice but a bit too cold to go in Didn't try the gym Would recomend this hotel to anyone who wants a ”chilled out” break 90% of clients over 50 with mixture of British/Dutch/German/Scandanavians The only fault I could find was that the hairdryers were not very powerful - take your own and a kettle if you want a drink in your room Hope to stay here again next year
