Secluded Haven
Very nice property with everything you need for your stay. Wonderful location, close enough to Franklin but yet secluded at the same time.

Anniversary 41 years
Awesome! Perfect location several towns within driving distance. We went to the pumpkin roll festival in Franklin and the next day we went to a festival in Maggie valley. We visited Highlands, cashiers, Sylva, Waynesville and Maggie valley. The Bear den has the perfect view. So relaxing to sit on the porch in a rocking chair and enjoy the view. It never gets old. We would definitely go back and we highly recommend this place.

A comfortable place in a great location
This is the 3rd time staying here, and we enjoyed it like we have before. Very comfortable to stay here, with two nice recliners, so no arguments on who gets the "good one." :) Love the location that is close to town but off in a secluded woodsy area. Will try to come again next year, I'm sure.

Beautiful Mountain View
We had a great stay at The Bear Den. The view was amazing and the home was cozy. Location was perfect to see Highlands and Franklin with food options close by. It has everything needed to cook meals if you prefer cooking rather than eating out with updated appliances, pots and pans, and an abundance of silverware.
It was a wonderful weekend get away from the torrid Florida heat and will stay here again if we are in the area again.
