Galaxy Beach Hotel Alanya

Overall ok but not worth going all inclusive. Food was very much the same every day. So ended up eating out mostly. I’m a vegetarian and plenty salad on offer but eating salad twice a day with not much else to offer in different options as nothing was labelled - it becomes repetitive. Lacking in meat options for my husband. The cleaners were evident working hard cleaning round the pool area and rooms. And we were satisfied with the cleanliness of our room, with fresh towels and replenished toilet roll and water etc. beach is very stoney so be warned it’s not ideal for lying on. Entertainment was lacking and the daily entertainment was the same every day- a game of darts or volleyball. Therefore be prepared to go out in the evenings as there is nothing happening. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Recommend the trip out on the jeep safari - highlight of the holiday.

Good cheap hotel if you like sun, sea and Good restaurants nearby. Lots of quality Boutiques aswell. Food could be better in the hotel! More than compensated on the all inclusive bar. Steaming most days. Haha Staff all friendly too and excellent massage place attached to hotel. Highly recommend very relaxing.

I wish to express my dissatisfaction with the Galaxy Beach hotel. The staff exhibited unprofessional behaviour including an incident where the entertainment manager yelled at me for declining to visit a nightclub. Additionally, the all-inclusive service was lacking, as staff members denied us drinks, and the bar was frequently closed. The food quality was poor, with the chips being either excessively hard or overly soft, not many options for people with specific dietary requirements. There was no food or allergies labels on the food, which was a struggle for me as suffering with IBS I can only eat certain food, this made me struggle to eat food during my time. The hotel manager reacted aggressively when we requested additional towels due to a leaking shower, initially refusing our request and ultimately providing only one towel for three guests, which was also unclean. As I was using the shower I had burned my back and scratched it all as there are taps in the showers and they are very small. Toilet roll was not given unless we asked for it, our hotel room was a 5 minute walk away from the reception and even when asking for it, the management was rude. Additionally, a towel belonging to my friend was taken from the balcony, and a bottle of pink gin went missing from our room while we were at the pool; when we inquired about it, the staff denied any wrongdoing and made me check the room again, only for me to discover that one of the maids had indeed taken it. The staff's behavior was inappropriate and unsettling, as they prohibited us from using the pool and consuming food or drinks on our final day leading to us having to inquire about it to our holiday representative who had to ensure that we had got what we had paid for and made sure we still could use the facilities on our last day. Furthermore speaking of this, our holiday representative booked only two people for two planned excursions instead of three, leading to unexpected extra charges. Attempts to contact him for clarification were met with silence, and we ended up paying €45 and €35 for the trips, which should have only cost €12 and €15 each. Due to all of this my holiday experience was a holiday from hell, I did not enjoy myself, due to all of the above I am really disappointed and upset. The other 2 passengers that travelled with me also feel the same. I hope you read this with great concern as this is not what I was expecting. I hope something serious gets said/done about this.

Hell of a lot of negativity on here, but from my perspective if you want a decent, cheap week away, you can't moan to much, the only ones that seemed to ever want to moan were pissheads with a English WW2 superiority complex, staff were great, take the time to talk to them instead of arguing, far easier to get any issues resolved, my biggest fear was going to be lack of variety of food on offer, but I didn't need to worry, there were stacks, the local town is big with plenty of shops and restaurants, pool and beach were great, one word of caution don't book trips through the reps, it's 4x more than booking with local vendors, had a great week and met some great people....if all you wanna do is get smashed and get angry, I'm sure there are other places that will suffice.....

Linen was meant to be changed every 3 days we had linen changed once in 7 days and the cleaners turned the pillow over and changes them around, my partner cut his toe and once cleaned it there was a little bit of blood on the towel so I left it o the floor for the cleaners to out a new one in but they just hung it up. The food was awful they had thw same food everyday which we ended up eating out a lot. The all inclusive alcohol by the pool was closed at time when meals was being served at certain times on the day. The hotel had its own private beach but if we wanted food or alcohol we had to purchase it even though it was part of the hotel and the obly drinks we got at tje beach was tea coffee and juice I would never recommend this hotel as for thw flight they were delayed going out to Turkey and coming back flew with pegasus would not recommend this airline. Don't waste tour money on this hotel or airline would never go back to Alanya not alot to do unless you want to go to Antayla which is 2 hours away which looks much nicer

Please think twice about going to this Hotel as it is awful. I booked an all inclusive holiday for my partner and myself but we split up 2 days before travelling so ended up going alone. Having arrived at Antalya airport at 5.30 in the evening we then had to wait an hour before the shuttle bus left due to waiting for 3 people who arrived on a later flight, the driver then stopped at a petrol station to refuel the mini bus and then we stopped again for 20 minutes for a toilet and coffee break making the transfer time just about 4 hours instead of 2 1/2 hours arriving at my hotel at 10.15 pm. I had been travelling from 6.30 am. The hotel restaurant was closed and I said that I needed some food to be able to take my medication, they gave me a polystyrene box contain 1 Piece of bread, 1 slice of tomato, small pack of butter and 6 olives. I took these to my room and then took my med's and went to get a drink from the bar only to be told it closed at 10.30pm. This was not what it said in the paperwork they gave me on arrival. The following morning I went to the restaurant for breakfast where there were boiled eggs, slices of fried garlic sausage and some cold chips, this was the hot food selection but there were some cold meats and salads etc. I went back to the restaurant for lunch where the selection of hot food was limited, there was a meat stew but you could not tell what meat it was and a chicken stew that looked very grey. I decided to leave it and wait for dinner and returned to the bar to find it was closed for the 2hours while lunch was being served as the restaurant bar was now open. I went back to the 6th floor to the restaurant to get a drink only to be told I could not take it out of the restaurant and had to drink it there. The same thing happened at dinner time also and the bar also closed in the afternoon at 4.30 while they served tea and cake, in total the bar closed for 5 1/2 hours of the 12 1/2 hours it was meant to be open. The food at dinner was exactly the same as lunchtime with just a different rice or pasta dish. When the bar was open you were only allowed to get one drink at a time so when I was talking to people I met there I had to keep going back and forth to the bar. The food didn't change very much throughout the week and so I ended up eating in some nice restaurants in the local area.
