Excellent endroit en plein centre de la ville ! Le personnel était très serviable et sympathique et la chambre était confortable et propre. Tout ce que vous pourriez désirer ! Recommande fortement!

L'attention du réceptionniste était super bonne, les chambres étaient propres, confortables et belles.

Un excellent emplacement pour avoir une vue magnifique sur le port et à distance de marche de nombreux restaurants et attractions de la ville. Personnel très gentil et sympathique qui a été utile de toutes les manières possibles. Et certaines chambres au sommet ont des fenêtres au plafond et par nuit claire, vous pouvez observer les étoiles depuis votre chambre 🖤

El hostel fue de lo mejor, los chicos de recepción turno mañana y noche fueron muy cordiales y de mucha ayuda. 1000/10 lo súper recomiendo para pasar unos días en Menorca ❤️❤️❤️

Très bien situé au cœur de port Mahon et proche du front de mer cet hostal a été bien rénové avec goût et fonctionnalité. Par contre méfiez vous des informations données par les sites de réservation en ligne qui donnent des informations fausses, chambre beaucoup plus petite qu'annoncé et pas de coffre fort dans la chambre ni sèche cheveux. Par contre chambre calme, lumineuse et excellente literie. Jolie douche à l'italienne et mobilier moderne. Possibilité de prendre un petit déjeuner léger pour 4 à 5 euros. Personnel sympathique.

J’ai indiqué la note de 2 sur 5 uniquement pour sa proximité du centre ville qui est à moins de 5 min et sa propreté. En dehors de cela je vous le déconseille car un hôtel est avant tout un endroit pour se reposer , ce qui n’est pas possible dans celui-ci . Entre les gens qui parlent forts dans les couloirs qui résonnent , toutes les portes des chambres qui claquent dès qu’on veut les fermer , les femmes de ménage qui déplacent les lit à partir de 8h en créant un bruit énorme dans tout l’hôtel et les murs juste assez épais qui ne couvre pas le bruit de la douche ou des wc du voisin. En conclusion cet hôtel est un bruit incessant qui débute dès 7h le matin !!! Ce pourquoi je le déconseille fortement.

Excellent rapport qualité prix pour cet hôtel très bien placé et très propre. Petit déjeuner correct (très bon café et pan con tomate y queso y jamon). Un seul regret peut-être le bruit dans les couloirs quand les clients partent ou rentrent et claquent les portes…

Wow what a great find! We landed at the airport late so thought we would spend the first night in Mahon in cheaper accommodation. We had quite low expectations what with it being described as a 1 star hostel on ******* but oh my what a gem! Check in was quick. The hotel and room was really chic and modern. The room was on the small side but plenty big enough for just the two of us. The bed was really comfy with white crisp sheets. We had a view out to the stress with a window and shutters and the air conditioning was amazing! The shower and toilet were really modern and the shower was quite large and was great! There was a shower gel dispenser in the shower along with bath and hand towels provided. The location of the hostel is perfect as you take a stroll down the road and down the steps take you onto the main Mahon harbour which was bustling on a random Wednesday evening when we arrived. There are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants to chose from. There is a cafe linked to the hostel where we grabbed some coffees in the morning before taking a walk up to the centre of Mahon where we caught a bus to Cituadella from the bus station. There are plenty of shops and cafes and interesting buildings and statues on the walk up to the city centre area as well as a Thursday morning market. Check out isn’t until 12 noon which is great as we hate having to rush out first thing. There are places to park on the side streets. We took a taxi from the airport and it cost around €12. We are considering menorca again for next year and would stay here again and for longer next time!

Very hospitable staff. Appeared that the whole accommodation had been upgraded. Great location for city centre and the port. Excellent continental breakfast. Easy 24 hour access card/ key. Would definitely return.

I would have given the maximum score if there was less wrong information given by the hotel on Hotels com. We selected a room of 15 sqm, when we got a very small room of maximum 10 sqm. They mentioned a safe which didn't exist. The breakfast sold at 25 EUR for 2 pax, was sold for 4.5 EUR per pax on site. Beside that, the hotel location is excellent, it has recently been nicely renovated. The room is beautifully decorated, very quiet and clean. The bedding is excellent. The small bathroom is missing ventilation. They have 3 cheap breakfast options varying from 3 to 4.5 EUR.

Hostal La Isla proved to be the perfect place for our first holiday for 3 years. The location was perfect, just 5 minutes walk to the main indoor market in Mahon and the rest of the old town area. The local bus was just around the corner which takes you straight to the bus station. The cleanliness was excellent everywhere. The room was a good size with a lovely bathroom and a fabulous shower. The owner and his son were always helpful if you had any query. The breakfast was always tasty, lovely coffee and Ensaimadas, orange juice, toast etc. which was served at your table and never overcrowded as they started at 6.30am. Overall I would highly recommend this Hostal, which I would say was better than a lot of 4 star hotels. Thank you to Paco for making our holiday so enjoyable and relaxing.

Hostal La Isla was exactly what we wanted for our 2 day visit to Mahon. The room was an adequate size and had a surprising amount of storage space and the bathroom was large with a good shower. Add in aircon and a lift and we had all we needed. Breakfast was simple but fine and I found this place great value for money.
