The hotel did look just as lovely as the website and the beach club was also reflective. The room was small but had a lovely view, no fridge or drink facilities. Breakfast was good! What was so disappointing was the attitude of the staff member on reception. I am not sure if this was due to a communication barrier but she was very dismissive and unhelpful. We were told check in was from 3pm although our ******* booking confirmation said 2pm. Either way a little information on getting to the beach club or when our room would be ready would be helpful and avoided a frustrating conversation. After returning to the hotel we were told the shuttle to the beach club was unavailable, although they made an exception and did take us there, we were left to find our own way back after a phone call the same member of staff refused to bring us back, thank goodness for Uber. We were only there for one night, rather than the two emails I received beforehand regarding additional charges, I would have appreciated info on booking shuttles and using the beach club. The website indicated this would be easily available. The sun terrace did not seem available to us, again no information, you may have to have a suite to get access to this. The roof terrace closed at 7pm so our plans to relax with a drink did not happen. The air con in our room would not go below 21 so left us with an uncomfortable & restless night. In hindsight we wished we had given this hotel a miss.
