Avis : Christee Suites Hotel

Booked the suite and room was really big. Came with 2 queen beds and had a separate work area big enough for meals and activities 😅 Room was clean and look well maintained. No stains or whatsoever. Very pleasant stay. The hotel staff were helpful and prompt in service. We asked to clean up the room and left for breakfast immediately after. When we returned the room was all made up, neat and tidy. Breakfast was decent. Do note though, that the take-your-own-food buffet style became semi ala carte buffet because there were not enough guests while I was there. Still, it was good enough. Kids wanted to swim but the pool was a little too tiny for our liking. We did activities outside of the hotel though so not much of an issue. Location wise. If you want something right next to malls or in the heart of the jonker area, this is probably not your best choice. We take a 10 min walk to the jonker area and it was a comfortable stroll though. Quiet enough but not too near. Overall a good stay and very happy to return.

Room was big enough to accommodate 3 Adults and 2 children on 2 king size beds. Amenities like shampoo and shower gel is not enough as they come in tiny bottles. There is a coffee machine in the room which takes a while to start and shut down. Room comes with some biscuits and 4 bottles of water. Bathtub was great for children. Walking to Jonker street is about 800m. Use google map to guide you. However the walk was pretty dangerous for young children as the roads are pretty narrow. There is a nasi lemak balut stall outside the hotel. PLS TRY! It’s delicious. I like that the hotel has private parking. Breakfast was decent, enough to fill your tummy, nothing to rave about. There is a kids pool and adults pool. Not too bad.

Very Friendly staff. Really nice rooms and facilities. About 10 mins walk from Start of Jonker Street. Love the place. Will stay there again when I visit. Small cons which probably shouldn't be too big of a factor for most people 1. No proper pathway on one of the road leading into hotel. Have to walk alongside the road but still not that bad. The other way towards jonker Street has pathways at certain places, but barriers which even children have to walk sideways to get in. Believe these barriers are for motorbikes and bicycles but probably too narrow for humans as well. Not the fault of Hotel though 2. Toilet floor edges can be cleaner, although I have to say still much better than many other hotels
