Express Inn at Hulhumale

For the price, it is okay. It looks much better from the photos than in reality. Service was excelent, for booking a car and stay early in the morning

The room is “okay” for the price. They have a tv in room for nothing, no connection to channels; a very small tv in fact. The shower room gets flooded with water when taking a shower. Room service is not there at all, you have to ask them to change linen, clean your room or clear the dustbin etc etc.. here is the worst part of this place. The service of the staff is real bad, no smile on the faces, no greetings like good morning or good afternoon, the downstairs restaurant staffs are very rude, i have witnessed 2 days other customers being treated unprofessionally. The service staffs have no passion whatsoever. They just doing their for money i guess, the management here really need to look at their service staff and train them properly, not a slightest smile on their faces while they serve you, i took 2 breakfast downstairs, even after breakfast i said thank you no reaction to their dull faces. Overall poor experience, not coming back for sure, anyone whos reading this review i am not recommending this place at all as you can get way better places in hulhu male for the same prices, management of Express Inn if you see this review please train your staffs to be more professional and passionate about their work.

Most Terrible place we stayed in Maldives. I stayed with My wife and Two kids. No Hot water in room and they said hot water boiler is not working and I asked alternating options because of kids. But they didn’t provide even separate hot water for Kids. BF only for Adults count and you need to buy separately for kids even below 5. Three Bread slices, one small omelet, one sausages only for BF. If you need more you have to pay separately. Food not taste.

Misleading and fraudulent information! dirty, rusted, 50% of the size they said!! we had to leave only hours after entering! like a horror movie!! and AGODA (where we booked) doenst take any responsability just passes the ball on.

We booked for one night checking in on 25th of March and checkout on 26th . Our flight arrived on the 26 at 6:00 AM and once we reached to the hotel they said the rooms are not ready!! how come and we have already booked in advance and I did booked the hotel early so the rooms is 100% available as we are going to arrive so early!! Rooms are in bad conditions. the mattress is so old and lots of stains. We have requested to pick up us from the airport and nobody showed up

I booked in this hotel for an overnight stay, I choose this hotel as it is close to the beach. Upon arrival yesterday and finish doing the check-in process the reception told me to wait for sometime. I have seated in the couch for more than 10 mins until they said "shall we?" I stood-up and follow his lead, he asked me to get in the car in which I did though I was wondering why. We arrived at The Hive Beach Hotel that's when I know that I was booked out. Express Inn never inform me that they are going to book me out, they just dumped me at The Hive Hotel and left without saying a word to me. I asked the reception at The Hive hotel what is going on and she said they are overbooked. The room that I got is without balcony and everything is closed, no window either. I called Express Inn and advised them that I am not comfortable at The Hive Hotel and he said that he will do something for me, until the night came I didn't hear back from them. In the morning, I came down supposed to have breakfast as the booking I made is inclusive of breakfast but the reception told me their restaurant is not yet open and my booking here in on room only basis. Again I called Express Inn to inform them and asked about the breakfast, they said they will pick me up from here to have breakfast there at the Express Inn but nobody show up to pick me up. Hence, I demand a full refund to my accommodation as I didn't get the service that I booked.

To the Bookers: Dont trust the staff at the reception, they can give you the rate, commission and etc but later on end up nothing on your hardwork. My FRIEND/COLLAGUE sent a group in the hotel, she was promised to be given a commission per room per night rate but ended up 0 and the receptionsit declined that he didn't give any commission agreement where infact, it was conversed with her on whatsapp, and telephone call since it was a last minute booking whereby emails was not accessible by that time. There are many more groups on the pipeline as i know and i hope the management could fix this and retain business ties with my friend. She was given a phone nunber ny the receptionist stating that it was the Manager/owner somehow he was rude and it seems not the Manager/owner as expected. She looks forward for the real Manager/Owner of the hotel, to hopefully fix this issue. The most disturbing part, the receptionist mentioned or pushed to have the payments on CASH so that he could do something. However we asked to pay via onlije transfer advance full payment but he rejected snd insisted to pay cash. Since the clients arent having enough cash, it ended up paying by CARD. So then the story started as the receptionist told my friend that the receptionist could do anything on giving the commisaion since it was jot paid in CASH. It seems so fishy in there and very unprofessional. So beware of this.... I hope this helps to all the bookers who planned to keep your guests in his hotel. Thanks, Mary
