Beautiful well kept clean home!!! Rob and Margit are wonderful and breakfast just divine!! Great location and room 203 is gorgeous and fireplace the perfect touch….Highly recommend this B&B for relaxing stay full of Victorian eye candy!!

Stayed at this charming Victorian inn for 3 nights while visiting family in Manchester. Margit and Rob are super hosts - very attentive and welcoming. Made to order breakfasts by Chef Rob were a real treat. Our room & private bath were immaculate. Also enjoyed the 24-hour access to free drinks and homemade cookies. Would stay here again & highly recommend.

It's no wonder that the Ash Street Inn keeps winning awards. A great location in Manchester (two blocks from the Currier Museum of Art, close to downtown restaurants and stores), but more important, the innkeepers Margit and Robert make the Victorian-era inn charming in many ways, from momentos of Manchester's history, comfy linens, fine toiletries, great breakfasts and more. I love having one of the rooms with a gas fireplace, but all the rooms I have seen are comfortable and unique. And if you get a room with one of the stained glass windows, that's a bonus, but you'll see them also in the lounge, the dining room, even the front door. Afternoon homemade cookies or scones are one of the ways they really work to make their guests enjoy the time spent there. You're the Best, Robert and Margit!

Stayed 2 nights while visiting family in Bedford. Great central location with easy free parking. Our room & private bath had everything we needed in this beautiful Victorian house: comfortable bed, quiet room, updated private bathroom & 24 hour access to free drinks & homemade cookies. The daily free, hot, made to order breakfast was delicious with a 5 star rating!! Would stay here again & highly recommend.

We stayed 3 nights. Lovely old Queen Anne (I believe) building that was owned by a Mill owner back in the day. Manchester, although a city, is more suburban than really hard core urban. This Inn is about 1/2 mile from the main street of the city. Wonderful made to order breakfasts! The innkeepers were lovely people, very hospitable. The Inn has snacks, 24 hr coffee maker you can use and there is a small fridge with beverages and some space for guests as well. Beautiful porch area where you can sit outside as the weather permits.

This was our first trip staying at a B&B and definitely will not be our last. Margrit and Rob were beyond gracious hosts. Everything about their Inn, from the spacious rooms, cozy lounge area to the complimentary beverages and snacks, was charming and clean. After a great nights sleep in the comfortable and private room, we were so excited for the home cooked, made to order bfast that so many past guests have raved about. It did not disappoint. We can’t wait to plan our next visit back. Thank you for being a highlight of our getaway weekend.

I visited Manchester to spend time with my sister who was recovering from surgery at Catholic Medical Center. I didn’t want to stay at a standard, sterile chain hotel. Ash Street Inn looked intriguing from my Google search, so I took a chance. The Inn was old world charming, and Margit and Rob were the perfect hosts. I adored my quiet, beautiful room with stained glass windows peeking out above a desk in a corner alcove. Everything was kept clean, and the modern amenities — from wi-fi to bathrobes to spa toiletries —- ensured a comfortable stay. Rob’s breakfasts were a highlight, and made it easier for me to face each day spent at the hospital with my sister. What could have been a debilitating journey was made into an unexpectedly positive experience. I looked forward to coming “home” at the end of each day, and even extended my stay by one night, to make it a full week. I hope to return to Manchester under more ideal circumstances, and to visit the many shops, restaurants and museum that Margit and Rob described that were within a stone’s throw of their Inn. I will definitely stay at Ash Street Inn on any future visits.

Rob and Margit have it together big time and have thought of pretty much everything one could offer in a B&B including a terrific breakfast, charming rooms, lots of little amenities, and treats scattered about the house. They gave great recommendations for local eateries and made wonderful arrangements for visits to the Currier Museum and other local venues. The location is within walking distance to the downtown business/restaurant district in a walkable residential neighborhood.

I stayed at this inn for three nights while visiting the area to attend a friend’s wedding. The inn is very cozy, with large, well decorated rooms and super comfortable beds. It’s also really well located to many nearby restaurants and cute towns. The hosts take the experience of staying there to the next level. They have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. He’s a great cook, and she has the answer to all your questions. They are both so friendly. You’ll feel at home and will be planning your next trip there when it’s time to leave.
