I enjoyed my stay thank you. I would come back another time a really peaceful sleep which I needed. The bed was qualify also appreciated the pillows.

Great location overlooking the lake however that is the only good thing about this place. You dive down very bumpy sand tracks to get the lodge and once there, it’s in a state of disrepair - broken tiles all around the pool, poorly trained staff, the chef took over 2 hours to provide a main course meal for a group of 12 and the food was hugely substandard. Extremely loud music in the bar, no choice of beer… the list is endless. As previous posters have said, the electric fencing around the lake doesn’t work so we had a hippo wandering around the lodges, air con in rooms was poor, if working, rooms haven’t been cleaned for some time. DO NOT stay here if given a chance

Airconditioner in room out of order not even a fan provided. We paid for aircondioned room and asked for refund, refused. Terrible breakfast, no eggs, very slippery walkway tiles with holes, arrogant staff with no training, terrible loud music, electric fence at hippo lake not working

Our commutation with the staff was effortless & they were all very welcoming of our group. The accommodation was clean & tidy, the food served at dinner was great too. Its quite a bit off the main road, and the dirt roads to get there were worse for wear.

I stayed for 4 nights at Kosi Bay Hippo Lodge. The entire experience was terrible. The rooms were old(deco). The kettle in the room was dirty. The food was not up to standard for the amount of money my employer had to pay per night. To top it off our group booking for the remaining 2 nights was not received (according to the establishment) resulting in us having to share rooms. The establishment is also not well maintained - The air Conditioning not working, my room door did not lock. The shower tap constantly fell off. It was a terrible experience on the whole.

It was my second time spending the night at your establishment. I must say first time was better than my second stay. Reasons: 1. First day at the bar there were no ciders and beers and it was very hot and I needed something cold. 2. Last day I had to wait an hour for my breakfast and it was not very nice food I must add and other guests were complaining as well. Lastly please work on the state of cleanness around the whole establishment
