Pikes Peak Inn

We stayed here in part because it was advertised to have a creekside hot tub. There was no hot tub. There was no lobby or staff on site the entire time we were there. There was a phone number provided to text questions. I texted around 6pm to ask about the hot tub and never got a response. We booked a king bed and it was a king frame with a queen mattress. We also booked the room with a pullout bed and there was no bedding for the bed. This was recently “renovated” and many corners were cut. The location is great as you can walk into Manitou easily but the hotel is just not good. There is no dead bolt for the door. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I recommend staying literally anywhere else in Manitou springs! Even a Motel 6 because at least they have employees and door keys! The owner is running this on a shoestring budget. I think it's a one man show there is no front desk so they make you download an app just to check in and access your room. The owner called (from an Texas phone number) 1 hour before our check in and said we need to sign the agreement before we can check in and that they had already gone home for the day at 3pm, we had never received an email though. The owner attempted to send it to my wife and I, we tried multiple phone numbers and emails and could not get anything. The owner said they couldn't do anything for us and would not give us access to our room even when we offered to provide cash or card directly. They insisted we cancel the reservation we made and make it again directly on their website. Very stressful to show up and find out you might not have a place to stay. The owner refused to tell us the booking ID they had which apparently differed from ours. We were eventually able to get a different booking ID from calling our booking agency and this let us in. The app was horrible and difficult to use and completely non-functional on the doors or for check out. We had to use the code to get in it felt very cheap, and there are no deadbolts on the rooms! The actual rooms were fine and there were almost no other guests at the hotel. They had recently renovated but clearly on a budget corners were literally cut. The shower door was upside down, assembly instructions were left on the toilet, exposed wiring, and more! Save yourself some stress and don't go here!

We booked three nights but had to leave after night one. They said they would credit us for night three. We followed up on the credit three times in the following week with promises but no results. If you're going to take advantage of me, just tell me up front to save time. This motel is run down and in need of renovation. It's a shame since it's such a great location. Also, the front office is not staffed so good luck with the grab n go breakfast or any needed assistance. My advice is to keep your expectations very low. If you have high standards, it's best to avoid this place.

We stayed in the patio room. 2 bedrooms and it was upstairs which had a deck/patio. A lovely stream flowing below so we opened the patio doors so sound of the stream put us to sleep. Even saw a bear strolling below which was exciting. Highly recommend this place

We were happy to discover this Inn. We had the king size room with a jacuzzi tub and it was wonderful. Clean rooms, friendly staff and very affordable. We will be back again and highly recommend this lodging to others. Easy walking distance to downtown shops. Fee parking a plus!

The motel looks the same as it might have been in the 1960's. The room was nice and large, but dark and uninviting. I usually like old motels, but this one just turned me off. It is a convenient location.
