First I will preface this review by saying that both my husband and I are frequent global travelers for both business and leisure. Having said that, we mostly stay at Marriott/Bonvoy or Hilton properties due to having status in the loyalty programs. I just joined Wyndhams program and this is the first stay (5 nights) Positives-good location, friendly staff, lots of options on the TV. While writing this, we were informed that we had to move rooms due to a problem with the water. It was a hassle to quickly pack up, then unpack again, but at least the room seemed a bit better. Cons: Have to admit the hotel looked much newer and nicer from the photos online. And as someone posted back in February, property seems not well maintained, windows are still dirty, shower fixtures in poor condition. Certainly understand that Covid is an issue, but it seems that maintenance could have been done during the down time. Gym was not adequate for any type of real workout. Weight plates could not be safely held on a bar, as the bar was way too narrow, plates would slide off. Cable seemed frayed on equipment, lacked free weights. We walked out, did not seem worthwhile or safe. Elevator set up was poor, only one bank operating on each side. With a limit of 4 people per car, lots of time spent to go up and down. Another issue is that other guests- likely tired of waiting- would just crowd in the elevator car, even without masks, putting us at risk. Seems it would make more sense to open other elevators to spread things out for safety. Another small, but annoying thing-there was no ”do not disturb”/”please clean room” sign...which might have helped with getting the room cleaned before mid/late afternoon. In summary, while I don't know how or if Covid has an impact on these types of issues, but in comparison to the JW Marriott in Quito, which cost about the same rate, the Wyndham seems overpriced and more on par with a budget hotel that should be less expensive.

Personnel super aimable, agréable et serviable. Une dame nous a prit les meilleurs photos de couple depuis que je suis en équateur. Personnel toujours avec le sourire et présent pour aider. Jusqu'à la sortie, personne presente jusqu'à l'arrivée de taxi/uber, pour charger les valises. En gros un service de luxe de la part du personnel. Possibilité de profiter jusqu'à 17h des installations et de faire garder ses valises après avoir libérer la chambre à 12h30 maxi. Le petit déjeuner excellent et à volonté, grande variété, sucrés/salés. Les bungalows sont dans un couloirs avec beaucoup de verdure (photo), ambiance forêt tropical.

Le personnel de l'hôtel est très gentil, toujours attentif à ses hôtes. On nous a appelés un taxi pour pouvoir visiter la plage santa Mariana, qui est à 20 minutes de l'hôtel. Il est très proche de la plage murcié et du centre-ville du Pacifique, vous pouvez marcher. Je dois dire que le petit-déjeuner continental était bien malgré le même jour, la même papaya et le même jus de pamplemousse. Le lit, les savons et les culottes sont très confortables et le meilleur est qu'ils sentent riche en coco. Le lieu a beaucoup de détails en bois, ce qui le rend très confortable. Ils devraient entretenir la télévision, car l'écran est orange et tous les programmes de télévision ont eu des gens périlleux à cause de cela, le volume diminue et augmente, puis il se normalise. Vous devriez également vérifier le déchargement du bain/jacuzzi et où est la cortine de bain qui est oxydé. Je recommande Manta Voyager, c'est un endroit où je reviendrai.
