"Mon fils et moi avons eu un séjour magnifique dans l'une de leurs penthouses avec piscine et braai privé. L'unité dispose de deux salles de bains et d'une cuisine bien équipée avec un four à gaz. D'abord, elle dispose de DSTV et même de YouTube. Il y a gratuit WiFi. Le personnel nettoie l'unité quotidiennement, lave les plats et fait les lits. Idéal pour deux hommes! L'unité est plus 5-star que 4-star comme classé. Le bon endroit pour se dégager et se détendre! Johan"

"Excellent resort. Friendly Staff. Clean. Check In Was quick and easy Room was clean and neat. Has everything you require Only complaint is the water is not hot just warm. After a day in the pool you need a hot shower. Coffee Shop was quiet we had coffee and cake . Was good."

"Le centre de la ville est très bien situé, mais il est très bien situé, et il est très bien situé. Et merci, parce que le personnel de Margate Sands répond à mes besoins sans que je ne plaigne. Tous les membres du personnel, pour mentionner quelques-uns que je me souviens (A été dans des esprits élevés), Charles, Silindile, Porters, Cleaners, Abigail (Un vrai bien pour Margate Sands- La connais depuis plus de dix ans - magnifique dans le divertissement), Monica, piscine, et braai gents, toujours si utile. Continuez avec la danse Freddy, le bon touch et le service des boissons chaudes et de Muffin dans la piscine est très relaxant. L'hôtel/à l'extérieur est très propre et bien entretenu. Ma famille a également donné un excellent retour. Maintenez-le et je continuerai à venir."

"The place was very clean and tidy, the host was very friendly and helpful and made sure we were okay at all times, we also really enjoyed the breakfast, the place was very peaceful and nice views of the ocean. The only issue i have is that the bathroom should have a sliding door for privacy in the suite that i stayed in, i also saw this comment from previous reviews and hope this is done for future guests."

"The staff are amazing, we have used timeshare holidays since 1992 and this is the FIRST time we got a welcome call 2 days before we arrived . On arrival and during our 2 week stay from the gardener to management staff treated us as if we were in a 5 start hotel. Well done Club Hacienda"

"Costa Smeralda has always been a special place for my family, and myself. We’ve been visiting for many years. The resort is ideally situated, in the most perfect and calm area. The facilities at the resort are always on point for beachfront self-catering units. When you arrive at the resort and immediately park your car, you know that the holiday is going to begin. The resort gives the best holiday feeling over the rest. Staff are always friendly and helpful, especially Tracy, Alfred, and Gladness. Unfortunately Kathy is no linger at the resort and has retired. The units at Costa Smeralda have unfortunately deteriorated to the point where upgrades are urgently needed, especially in the kitchens and bathrooms. The units are always neat and clean, and we’ve never had any issues with cleanliness. The security gates at the sliding doors also need to be replaced, as well as some of the furnishings in the lounge. The overall units need a big make over and TLC. Also I know it was due to cost saving, but the dishwashers and washing machines used to make it “THE” self catering units. The views at Costa Smeralda are the some of the best, especially in Units 4,5,6 in the front block. Some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Bonus for me at Costa is the nice braai on the balcony- braai with a view. The walks on the promenade in-front of the resort are always great, walking along the seaside, and fishing pier all the way to the main beach and restaurants. Costa Smeralda will always remain a go to holiday destination for us, however I prefer having my holidays in some of the resorts that are a bit more upgraded. Costa you will always remain a GEM!"
