Chalet Panorama

Wow! This chalet is truly amazing. Pure luxury with lots of personal touches that make it so cosy and homely. Superior room was big and airy with a beautiful view facing the slopes. Everything is of such a high quality and the bath is the biggest I've ever been in! The dining table was beautifully set every evening and the food was outstanding. Thierry , the fantastic chef cooked the most wonderful, tasty 3 course meals, with patisserie being his speciality, The desserts were incredible and the portions so generous. Nikita and the staff are very professional, extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I had wanted to visit this chalet for some years and finally managed to go this year. So glad my dream came true. Our expectations were truly exceeded. Would love to visit again. Thank you to all of you.

For us it was a new experience for a skiing vacation. As we normally used to apartments or hotels, you have in this place the opportunity to bring these two things together in a private way. You have everything you need. You have nice rooms with plenty of space. You have a nice spa with a sauna, steam bath. And a big and nice living and dinning area, where your afternoon tea and your dinner as well as breakfast will be provided by the really nice and lovely staff. The quality of the food was overwhelming and the portion were really amazing and enough for everybody. Big thanks to the cook, it was very delicious. The only thing we would recommend is that you should be able to speak a little bit of English otherwise it will be harder to communicate with the staff. We as a family loved it and for our kids it was some kind of language holiday as well. Thanks again to everybody in the chalet for the great week in this amazing chalet

We had a great Family vacation at Chalet Panorama in Maria Alm! Everything was perfect! The chalet is beautiful, decorated with taste and premium quality materials. The bedroom was better than the pictures, cosy, warm and really big so we had plenty of room even with the baby cot the staff prepared for us. The food was amazing, chef Thierry cooked us a different savory course menu every night, from starter to dessert. Each time he adapted the menu for my 15 month old son and prepared a special plate for him. Also Nikita and her team made this moment really special with different beautiful table décor every night! They were very welcoming and for exemple they cooked our favorite cake for afternoon tea or lend us several sledges to play with all the family. The spa is perfect after a day in the snow. There is a hammam, sauna, foot bath and relax area but no jacuzzi. The location is good, less than 10 minutes walking distance from the first ski trail and Maria Alm village is really pretty and authentic. I really recommend this chalet for a family vacation, you will feel like home with the Chalet panorama welcoming staff.

Outstanding chalet and resort! Absolutely nothing to fault with the accommodation from the warm welcome and how we were exceptionally well looked after to the fabulous rooms, cleanliness and sauna. This is a stay like no other. Attention to detail is everywhere and the facilities are brilliant. The highlight for me was the chef and the 5* food for the week. Skiing is really close and great options for all levels. We will be back!!

Firstly, the positive features. Fantastic room space in both the bedrooms and communal areas. Exceptionally clean though out. Nikita and the team were welcoming, attentive and supportive of requests. High staff to guest ratio. The food was varied and good and the table was beautifully laid each evening. I used the lockers at the base station to store boots and skis which were excellent and a pleasant 10 min walk from the chalet. The views of mountains and pistes from the chalet are very nice. A few little things let the chalet experience down and this is nitpicking. No welcome drink, for the cost a bottle of fiz add it to the price and serve daily. Fire lit on first and last days why not the others? Bed linen old, stained and past its best. Hot food option at breakfast arrived far too quickly. Some food portions at dinner too big leading to a lot of food waste. Afternoon cakes whilst nice would have tasted even better had they not been left uncovered all day and gone a bit dry. No mid-week bedroom clean, or towel change. Wine and spirit measures varied day to day. Bar prices on web-site several years out of date. Literature suggests a charge for wi-fi – sensibly not applied so why not change literature? With regards the ski-ing we were lucky with the weather and snow conditions. This is not a mixed ability area and best suited to competent intermediates as transiting across the 6 mountains requires navigating some tricky long reds. The blues at both ends of the region were very good.
