Wyndham Isla Margarita Concorde Hotel

This is a review of my trip to Margarita from 18-22 May 2025. My name is Veera and I visited this beautiful island with some friends, Glen, Indera, Myroon and Nelson. We were accommodated at the amazing Wyndham Concorde Resort. The service we received from the beginning to end of our visit was one to remember. We were welcomed at the resort by a group of young, vibrant and amazing dancers. They continued their dance performance while we were checked in. This group of dancers were the highlight of our trip. They were six (6) males, namely, Xavier, Thomas, Javier, Antonio, Frank and Nick. While the five (5) females were Juli, Nicole, Carlis, Leo and Valentina. They were very energetic at every night’s entertainment where they invited people from the audience to the stage. We were called many times and had a wonderful time, dancing and learning and following new footsteps. The dancers were extremely friendly, accommodating and full of energy. We appreciated the mix of music which were loved by all. They even played our soca music from Trinidad and Tobago, and wore outfits with our national colours, of red, white and black. We were very grateful for this as there were many Trinis in the audience. They also performed at the foam pool party which was exciting, and many people enjoyed themselves dancing in the pool. We also played dominos and bingo at the pool. We were very happy with our stay, especially with this group of dancers. They are the highlight at your resort and will definitely be a source of many continued visits. We will invite our friends and family to visit in the future as we will be back. Besides the lovely dancers, we were very pleased with the service at the restaurant where we enjoyed the delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had some amazing waiters, namely Carlos, Jesus and Rumi. In conversation with the dancers and waiters, we were pleased with our comfort of the Spanish language. The only problem we encountered was in the bathroom. The water did not run off as the level was not slanted and it settled. We had to ask the room helper to plunge and sweep the water to the outlet. Besides that, whenever we called the front desk, we received immediate service. We were very happy with this.

i stayed here for 5 days and i don’t have any bad reviews about this hotel. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The rooms are clean. The nightly entertainment is very good. I was impressed, the dances was well put together and in sync, would definitely recommend.

Had a really good stay here. The guest services and bartenders are excellent. The drinks at the pool are are amazing. You must try the mojitos! The hotel is clean and spacious and good value for the all inclusive experience. Will definitely stay here again.

I would like to applaud the Wyndham Concorde for their stunning views and amenities. Everything in our stay was going great until it didn't. Upon check in we were informed that we didn't have the all-inclusive package due to booking through our RCI account. We were asked to leave a $200 cash deposit, and told that it can go towards our final bill, or we can cover the bill with a credit card upon check out. I offered to leave my card on file and they declined say the $200 cash would suffice. On day three of our stay, we returned from a tour and went to have a snack at the restaurant. One of the servers presented a bill for the snack and asked me to put my room number and sign it, and I did. On the morning of day 4 there was a note left under the door to contact the front desk. At the front desk, they presented multiple bills that we never saw before, and stated that the staff said the bills were presented to us for signature and we refused. That was a blatant lie. I then requested to speak to a manager and was told that the manager was not in yet but we can speak to her upon our return from our excursion that day. When we returned that evening we went to ask for the manager again and was greeted with attitudes by the front desk staff who stated that the manager was not there, she leaves at 5. When I looked at the time it was only 430. We went to have dinner that evening and the staff were all staring at us and whispering among themselves and pointing. They even were refusing to serve us until one of the restaurant managers got involved. We ordered from the menu that night and after we finished, I asked for the bill and was told I had to settle all my bills from the previous days. The next morning we went to breakfast off site, when we returned we could not get into our room so we proceeded to the front desk to speak to the manager. We finally spoke to the operations manager "Vanessa". While she was pleasant, she showed no remorse for our situation, the miscommunication and lack thereof, and rudeness of her staff. She was only focused on us paying the bill in full, which I had already stated to her we had no problem doing. She then prompted us to put a credit for future meals which I declined because I stated that we did not like how we were being treated and what the atmosphere had become so we would be checking out early. She offered no apology still or anything to ease what we were going through. We have stayed at multiple Wyndham establishments and have been loyal Wyndham owners for almost 10 years now and have never encountered anything like this. We will not be returning.

The experience was amazing Frank, nick , the team and the girls were awesome. I had a ball , Exceptional service, endless vybze . The service was friendly, helpful, top notch. Rooms clean and well kept. The dancing, the drinks . Definitely recommend.

The staff was above and beyond, absolutely zero complaints! My stay was lovely I enjoyed the dancers and the food and how quick service was. The staff speaks both English and Spanish. The island is absolutely beautiful and there are tours provided by the hotel (for an additional cost) but it's absolutely worth it!
