Second time staying here and unfortunately wouldn’t stay again. It’s totally overpriced for what it is. Room is beautiful with excellent air conditioning. Location is excellent, right on the beach. But the breakfast has a ridiculously limited choice. For €250+ a night, you should get what you want for breakfast, but their system is you pick ONE only of these five items and then ONE other of these other five items. On this, our second visit, the staff were definitely not as friendly as on our first. We were rarely greeted. We weren’t especially made feel welcome. When we checked out, there was no offer to call us a taxi. All we were asked was whether we had used the minibar and when we said no, the guy who worked there literally RAN down to our room to check. There was no attempt at subtlety on his part. This left a very bad impression. Overall, while the room is beautiful (it’s a room; it’s not a suite), for the breakfast offering and the friendliness/ professionalism of the staff, it’s not worth over €250 a night.

What a find! Small boutique hotel on the beach a short stroll from everything - restaurants, bars, shops. It has 10 rooms - hence the name! Five at pool level with personal sunbeds over the water and five on top with panoramic views of the beach and dunes. Staff are wonderful - special recognition to Iris for whom nothing was too much bother. Breakfast on rooftop with a nice choice of menu. Lunch is available too. Simple choices but it hits the spot if you don't want to leave the property. Had a fantastic time with Tensuites as a base.

We had a wonderful holiday at this exquisite only adults hotel with 10 suites. We felt like staying at a peaceful quiet oasis just steps away from the hustle and bustle. Our room was overlooking the natural reserve of the Maspalomas sand dunes, location is excellent with all services and amenities nearby. The swimming pool entrance is literally on the beach. Everything was perfect, from the sublime freshly cooked breakfast to the super king size bed with the most comfortable mattress you could wish for. Minibar with complimentary wine and daily fresh water, still and sparkling on cristal bottles. Staff could not be more attentive, they are on site available 24 hours. A truly personalised concierge service, we will definitely come back.

I booked this place for October, today is Sept 12th. I phoned to ask if there was any sun loungers at the pool as our booking was for a balcony suite and the pool looks very very small. The receptionist I just spoke to was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Her English wasn't good enough to understand my question even though it's a simple one. She could tell me I had a confirmed booking and could change to a ground floor suite with sun loungers but couldn't tell me if there was enough sun loungers at the pool for those in the balcony suites. She said the line was poor and she couldn't hear me- the line was perfect. She said she'd call me back later. I asked if perhaps there was anyone there who perhaps had better English- she said, word for word, " you can cancel your booking if you don't think my English isn't good enough " and hung up! ... Yes of course I cancelled the booking, absolutely appalling staff. Of course all the reviews on *********** are great so it's important to write reviewed on sites that are not filtered.

On our usual vacation in Gran Canaria in 2022 we were made aware of the impending opening f the 'Ten Suites on the Beach' and subsequently on reading their webpage, we decided to book our 2023 vacation with them. In fairness it has to be said that ascetically that the owners have provided a relaxing and pleasing place. Our suite was quite roomy although lacked sufficient wardrobe and drawer space (we lived out of a suitcase for 2 weeks) and the swimming pool suite which we had booked could cause considerable anxieties for some due to their lack of privacy. We were particularly drawn to this property as their publicity stated 'that one could expect all the services you can expect from a luxury hotel' and that 'we consider our size to be a strength when it comes to offering our clients the best possible service. There was a complete lack of information as to what services were available .'Lunch? - well not today, but perhaps tomorrow and hopefully next week if we have a cook in' 'The Pool Bar?- well it may be open today but it depends on what staff are in. The one service on offer everyday was Breakfast. However, on several days we had to wait over an hour, after sitting down at our table, for ebve4n a coffee or orange juice to appear. We confronted the owners with our concerns describing the the service as chaotic and which they themselves described as 'catastrophic'. Their attention to detail and any concern for our well-being ended there. We arranged a meeting with them on our penultimate day, and the didn't have the common decency to turn up. This property would , in most peoples appraisal, wouldn't get a 2star rating let alone5star and, as such, is grossly overpriced. Take heed - you have been warned!
