Hotel Salgart

We spent a week at the Salgart as part of an Inghams holiday, we had a first floor room with a balcony overlooking the pool, with views of the valley. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have a safe and plenty of space for clothes etc. It maybe lacks in some of the little extras such as bottled water, small fridge and a kettle, but thats only a minor detail. We had a half board stay and the food (home made/cooked) was excellent, the staff at the hotel are friendly and speak Italian, German and English, they were particularly helpful advising us on which buses we needed to catch. The pool is outdoor and heated, so even if its cool and raining you can still have a nice swim. The hotel is a good 10-15 minutes level walk from the centre of town, depending on how fast you walk, but the location is lovely and peaceful, and if you've booked half board you don't really need to go back out in the evening .

Very nice hotel , so clean , big rooms and very good , the bath is big and arranged well , free parking , free Wi-Fi , twelve minutes from the centre , the breakfast is excellent and includes so much to eat , The hotel is suitable for four stars at least , hope to visit again

What a pleasure to return after the restrictions of the pandemic. The same beautiful location but with a change of management to Sabina and Linda we noticed some great improvements. A new thermal outdoor pool, new patio furniture, Wi-Fi throughout the rooms and lots of little touches. Service was super, food good and such a relaxing position. For us the ideal location for a holiday in merano

Wir waren jetzt bereits zum 3. Mal im Hotel Salgart. Wie immer ein toller, erholsamer Urlaub. Besitzer und Angestellte sehr nett und freundlich. Zimmer absolut sauber, toller Balkon. Man bekommt immer einen Platz am beheizten Pool. Essen hervorragend. Fals mal etwas fehlt oder eine Lampe defekt war, wurde es sofort erledigt. Hotel liegt ruhig, Meran fußläufig gut zu erreichen.

Gemütliches Hotel mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitenden, welche einem stets sehr gerne Fragen beantworten und Tipps geben. Moderne und grosszügige Zimmer, schöner Garten mit tollem Pool (geheizt auf 30 Grad im April 😍). Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Bellissimo hotel con vista sulle montagne di Merano leggermente fuori dal centro,raggiungibile in 15 minuti a piedi, personale super gentile ed accogliente, molto pulito con parcheggio gratuito, piscina riscaldata e ottima colazione. La camera accessoriata con tutto il necessario confortevole pulitissima e accogliente
