Perfect insta spot ! Moody black accommodation, attentive and informative front of house , opportunity to have a drink outside at firepit, or a sunset outdoor spa in the infinity pool/ spa. Room - with spa bath and added luxury’s Eg PJ’s and mini bar was a nice treat . Doot, Doot Doot restaurant was an amazing culinary experience . Waiting staff were spot on and provided an enjoyable experience. Congratulations to the chefs and kitchen crew. Cocktails were a little underwhelming with our requests. Apparently never heard of a Blue Moon cocktail before - must be my age! ( not a deal breaker) Considering the attention to detail for the restaurant, hotel and experiences at Jakalope we were disappointed with the cellar door and the complimentary tastings. The cold grey walled room with a-few wine barrels and trestle table with wines and sink to clean glasses all leaned up against the wall, in was not what we expected from the whole branding of jakalope. With all the expense that has been made to present a world class experience I would suggest relocating the cellar door to the Rare Hare or upgrading the existing. Maybe add a window or 2 to take advantage of the beautiful views. Just felt it let the whole location down. Would go and do a day visit again and hope to see the cellar door and tasting experience upgraded to match the Rare Hare and accommodation that Jakalope is well known for

Kumara, Rachel and Delilah were warm, kind and helpful as we navigated your hotel. Your barrel room and wine tasting were nice. We had no idea about this aspect of Jackalope. We purchased the Pinot Noir, sparkling wine and rosé. The property is stunning—the garden, the vineyard beside the serene lake. Brilliant! Doot, Doot, Doot was an experience not to be forgotten! Delicious but also an experience for all the senses. Kushan brought wine bottles to our table and let our daughter sample the reisling so that she would order just the right pairing. He recommended a delicious Shiraz to my husband. His passion for wine, service and people was clear. Corrie and Grace were warm and took great care of us. Your dessert chef came out to greet us. The snacks were delightful. The chandelier was spectacular and the lighting ‘wowed’ us! We felt very special by the time we left. Exquisite service, kindness and attention. Thank you!

We stayed at Jackalope for a return visit, having enjoyed it 5 years ago. While the property remains well presented and the bar service was very good, the overall experience has declined. Our room had ongoing crackling noises through the night, which affected sleep quality. Dinner at Doot Doot Doot, which we had looked forward to, was disappointing. Despite noting dietary requirements in our booking and at check-in, staff repeatedly asked about them, and there was confusion with the menu. The response from service staff felt inflexible and dismissive. The overall service lacked warmth and attentiveness. Jackalope presents well on the surface, but the experience feels mechanical and disingenuous, falling short of what it claims to offer.

Brilliant location where you taste wine, eat and sleep. We had our anniversary dinner at Doot Doot Doot which is one of a couple of restaurants there. Set cost menu which was generous and delicious. Wine bottles or a number of matching wines by the glass. Highly recommend getting there earlier for an explore and relax in the bar before dinner. Staff very good and provided great service.

Amazing hotel with lovely rooms and infinity pool. Free cellar door tasting included and lovely breakfast. We were also lucky enough to be there for the nightly film projected onto a large screen in front of the vineyard. A lovely experience and would recommend booking the vineyard rooms for the better view

"Experience like no other" 1. Cleanliness and Maintenance- . Top quality modern hotel with exceptional vineyard views . Well maintained clean and neatly presented hotel and room, facilities, bar, pool and spa 2. Comfort and Amenities- . Quality pool and spa, facilities with easily accessible bathrooms . Bed very comfortable, spacious room, incredible bathroom bed and shower . Lots of coffee pods on offer 3. Noise and Sound Quality (Good night sleep?)- . No outside noise. Great quality sleep with a terrific room with plenty of sound barrier 4. Staff and service - . Great professional punctual and responsive staff . Very welcoming on arrival and departure and was incredible in helping choose our room . Very timely and great service 5. Location and Accessibility - . Great location overlooking the vineyard, great walks and peaceful atmosphere . Parking onsite Overall: 5/5 stay (Classic Hotel)

We came with high expectations for our 35th wedding anniversary and Jackalope delivered. We booked the 2 day package which includes dinner at Doot Doot Doot. Breakfast daily and $100 towards lunch at Rare Hare, and lots more. Dinner at Doot Doot Doot was exceptional. Amazing food and service to boot. Now we have travelled the world and dined at many a good restaurant and this stacks up against the best. Breakfast service is next level. The spanner crab omelette is the best I have had, not to mention great coffee. Don't forget Rare Hare for lunch. Again the food and service did not disappoint. A big shout out to Max and Leanne at reception, service with a smile and genuine engagement which is rare. I see from other posts that their rooms faced the car park. Yes, we had the same, but they are well appointed and did not think this was a negative. Free mini bar included, not to mention the free popcorn and ice cream was a fantastic idea. We had dinner on the second night at another top rated winery with sculptures, and it came nowhere near Jacklope. Oh! Forgot to mention the free transfer within a 10 klm radius of the hotel, another bonus, great Lexus SUV. If you are thinking of something special, classy and unforgettable then Jackalope is the place for you. I will be back.
