The New Hotel

Moisissure derrière le papier peint qui se décolle. La chambre était un désastre. Vaisselle sale dans l'évier, serviettes usagées partout, le lit était sale, télévision cassée, poubelles dans les poubelles. Réservé via AAA, NE CROYEZ PAS LES PHOTOS OU LES AVIS. L'argent est prélevé pour la totalité du coût du séjour le matin de votre réservation par « Cleaning 2 Go, LLC ». Le propriétaire et le gérant refusent tout contact. Je suis sorti de l'hôtel en 5 minutes et j'ai contacté le propriétaire et le directeur pour obtenir un remboursement. Ils refusent de répondre à toute forme de contact et AAA a demandé un remboursement et a été refusé.

L'emplacement est excellent, l'état de la chambre était inacceptable. Il y a un déshumidificateur nécessaire dans la pièce en plus d'un climatiseur. Le déshumidificateur débordait chaque nuit. Sans le déshumidificateur en marche, l'odeur de moisi était envahissante. Le seul point positif était le nouveau propriétaire mais c'était tout.

Excellent emplacement, accessible à pied jusqu'à la plage et plusieurs bons restaurants et bars. Super hôte, propriétaire/gérant est très hospitalier et accueillant. Nous a permis de stocker nos bagages jusqu'à ce que la chambre soit prête. La chambre était confortable et propre pour une nuit avant et après notre croisière.

I can not overstate my disappointment at this ‘hotel’. My stay was booked based upon the reviews but this is not a hotel, it is a hostel. It has none of the amenities mentioned on the website. There is no bar, restaurant or Spa. The Wi-Fi is terrible. The Tv didn’t work. My room was horrible (room 3) . Dingy, dark, ground floor overlooking a car park and really, really in need of renovation.

Don´t look at the pictures and expect that the property look like this, NO...this is more like a cheap hostel. We asked if we could see the room before we paid and so we did.. and said NO.. this is not as the pictures in th ad. Cheap hostel style and not so much NEW Hotel.. Could

Ok motel in North Beach Miami. Clean. Self check in after 5pm. Small room with a needed air cleaner as it would be damp without it. Worn but clean. Off of a road with lots of police and ambulance sirens. Easy walk to several restaurants. Only 3 blocks to the beach. New management and new phone numbers. $60 from the airport by taxi

If you are looking for good value accommodation in Miami try this hotel in North Beach, ideal for a short break. We had a room near the road and we do usually have trouble sleeping but this didn’t appear to bother us. The room was clean and modern, free public parking but you have to check in with Joyce at the hotel who will pay the parking for you on an app. Joyce made us feel really welcome, kept in contact regular and made contact prior to arrival, and also gave up her time to have a chat with us and share some information about the local area. Joyce couldn’t have been more accommodating a credit to the hotel. Wouldn’t hesitate on booking this hotel again. Although the local area is not as attractive as South Beach, the beachfront is beautiful. There are some restaurants but if you want more choice there is a free trolley bus down to South Beach with a trolley stop not far from hotel.

Stayed at this pleasant little hotel in the north area of Miami Beach for 4 nights recently. Emailed in advance that we would be checking in after 9:00 pm and our key was waiting for us in a lockbox, which were able to access by calling the phone number at the front gate for the code. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, including a small kitchenette (coffee maker, sink, microwave and small fridge), big closet with safe, wall unit AC that kept the room cool and a clean bathroom. Additionally, the hotel has beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach towels and a couple coolers to borrow for the beach, which was a huge help! Hotel was quiet all 4 nights of our stay, although it appeared to be fully booked. Staff was very helpful when we needed a couple things. There is a shaded outdoor patio with plenty of seating, large palm trees, a pool and twinkling lights. Nice place to sit for morning coffee or in the evening. The neighborhood was fairly quiet at night, although we did hear some traffic and police sirens overnight on the weekend. The location is just fantastic! 2 short blocks to the beach, literally a 5 minute walk. Surrounded by great Cuban and Latin American restaurants and bakeries, a new Roman style pizzeria, burger/shake place, Middle Eastern restaurant with nice outdoor patio right in front of the beach, two pharmacies, etc. We Ubered to a couple dinners in South Beach, mid beach and to the farmer’s market in Surfside. No problem getting Ubers. There is a free shuttle that runs to the north beach area, but it stops running around 11 pm so that did not work for us. I am so glad we found this hotel! Our only free time to visit coincided with a major Spring Break weekend and hotel prices were high. This sweet little hotel was affordable and in a perfect location for the beach. It also is far enough from the South Beach Spring Break craziness for a peaceful vacation. If you are looking simple and clean accommodation to enjoy beach time, you will be happy here.
