Pheasant Field Bed and Breakfast

This was our second visit and we will keep coming back! The accommodations are beautiful, the owners are pleasant and the homecooked breakfasts are delicious! The town of Carlisle is only a hop, skip and jump away and has some cute shops and restaurants to choose from.

Our stay was convenient to hiking on the Appalachian Trail. We had a pet room that was stocked with everything we could need. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast always included a sweet and a savory choice. I chose savory, but my spouse chose sweet and we each found our meals to be tasty and satisfying before a long hike. The owner/staff were friendly and helpful.

My boyfriend and I went to Pheasant Field to close out 2023. It was the first time either of us stayed at a B&B and it exceeded our expectations! Kevin and Amy were the most amazing hosts... so warm and friendly and we immediately felt welcomed. We got a tour of the grounds and heard all about the plans to make this truly an amazing event venue, got to hang out with chickens, and were served delicious food. I feel like we got to know them. One of the most thoughtful pieces was when Amy gave us scones when we were leaving. I had mentioned when making my reservation that, while I avoid gluten, I am always open to scones. Since scones were not on the menu for breakfast either day, she gave us some that she made to take home with us. I can't wait to return!

What a find! We travel from Canada to the south every year and are always looking for great properties that accept dogs and aren’t soulless hotels along the interstate. Pheasant and Field was welcoming, had very well appointed rooms and a delicious breakfast. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!

Like coming home. Greeted by innkeepers who remembered my every preference for food and service. They were so helpful as I planned each day for activities and routes of travel. It feels like family after my second stay at Pheasant Field Bed & Breakfast. A special thanks to Amy, Kevin, Robin, and Kyle for their great care and for the fabulous food!

I do not know where to begin. We drove up at night, so I suppose I cannot gush about the appearance from the exterior. Not that it wasn't beautiful, only that I didn't get to see it! Everything I (we) did see exceeded every expectation. The innkeepers, who live in residence, were totally accommodating to our needs, our quirks, and the lateness of our arrival. The house? Just gorgeous. Every touch, and there are a million touches, is precisely on point. The beds were like sleeping on clouds. The design elements, like something from a magazine. There are so many more things I am leaving out because you want a review, not a dissertation. Suffice to say, if you don't visit Pheasant Field, you are missing out. Before we'd left we were already talking about coming back, not to visit the area and consequently stay at Pheasant Field, but rather, making a trip expressly to stay at Pheasant Field and, "well, since we're here, let's visit the area!

Attended an incredibly beautiful wedding at Pheasant Field B&B this weekend. What a wonderful event space. It was so natural and beautiful and breezy. All the touches were fantastic: the flowers, the tent, the yard games, the outdoor furniture…It was a beautiful day! I didn’t spend the night, but was able to tour the house-so thoughtfully decorated, and all bedrooms are en-suite. I can’t wait to come back and stay here!

Did a hike the A. T and stayed in the Appalachia Hideaway room. Beautiful themed room for the trail. The service was amazing. Very refined. The food was amazing. Definitely a world class place. Definitely recommend for all hikers.

Very clean, comfortable, and all the extras and amenities for a stay that felt like home. The grounds were so peaceful and well taken care of. So many spots to relax and breathe. Amy and Kevin were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfasts were exceptional and the service was five star. Loved all the extras like coffee and cold water always available and snacks. I look forward to my next stay.
