A very pleasant Sunday lunch in this quaint pub, tucked away in the old town Midhurst. Good sized portion of meat with a selection of vegetables & carrot puree, which looked colourful to the eye. Also a large light Yorkshire pudding. Served by a charming female member of the staff. The meal was finished off with three different desserts, all of which were very tasty. Well worth a visit.

We had a fabulous stay during Festival of Speed weekend. Our room was really clean and comfortable; we had a great nights sleep. The food is all fresh, the breakfast was superb and there was a great choice. The staff are really friendly and helpful and it has a lovely bar. Would recommend.

Lovely room, great breakfast, and perfect for a stay when visiting Midhurst for the weekend. A key point is the owners, their heart and soul are in this business, making your stay as welcoming as possible. Located in the sweet spot of Midhurst, and comes with great entertainment, such as a live bands on Saturday nights. Will be visiting again!

I applaud the current decor and ambience of the pub. The experience I had was unfortunately one of irritation and a feeling of being constantly in the way. I was asked to ‘relocate’ not once but twice as the waitress struggled to work around my husband and I who had spent £13 on 2 drinks we were clearly an inconvenience. Yet the pub was setting itself up for a live band. This was something I was looking forward to and had heard was a Saturday night thing at the pub. Are you a food pub or a drinkers music venue? I think the Space is too small to pull off both well.

Four of us came for lunch.Excellent local beer - Harvey’s Dark Ale is superb.An inventive way to serve the chicken and tarragon pie.The tomato and red pepper soup was delicious alongside the sausage roll and a first class charcuterie platter. Nice atmosphere.We particularly liked the thought provoking melange of decor. Would definitely recommend and the staff were excellent Thank you

A lovely updated historic 16th century inn in the middle of MIdhurst. I had a very comfy one night stay snd was upgraded for free to a room with a four poster bed. This timber framed historic inn has been restored and improved very nicely with modern touches. RThe bar has distinct snug areas and wood fires. Don't expect everything to be square or plaster walls to be smooth. The inn is all the better for showing its historic listed character. The clientelle tend to be at the younger end of the market which gives the Swan a very vibrant feel in a very good way. There is an excellent range of beer and drinks. I stayed on a Monday night in the winter when the kitchen was closed in the evening. There is a nice Italien restaurant 50m away and plenty of other places in town. The cooked breakfast was really good with excellent locally sourced sausges and bacon. The coffee was really good too. The young staff were really lovely. Very helpful, chatty and responsive. They clearly really care about the Swan and talked about what a great place it was. Clearly it is well managed.

Amazing food and excellent service Came for a Sunday roast and the food was amazing… great quality food and service Friendly staff that are always helpful. We then returned for lunch and the muscles are amazing. Working out when I can return and have them again. Definitely worth the visit

Dinner here on a Thursday evening. Excellent food (baked Camembert & breads to share to start). Really excellent food, good wine. Clearly a decent chef, service was lovely, restaurant layout & table was beautiful. Also has some tables for people who just wanted a swift pint. This is a little under the radar from other pubs with the monopoly. Do visit here it’s well worth it.
