Avis : Premier Hotel Midrand

I didn’t have so much of a good experience because of the noise, the hotel should really a wall between room 110 and the next room. I struggled to sleep because my neighbours were making so much noise.

We were given a warm and friendly welcome by the staff. There is lots of secured parking. Our room was beautiful with everything needed for our stay. The food at the restaurant was lovely and we enjoyed a breakfast buffet. We will definitely be back.

Not being well maintained. Tv difficult to switch on. Lacklustre breakfast. Shower heads need changing. The staff were relatively polite. But I was a bit disappointed that standards had somehow dropped. We were with ambassadors and I felt hotel could have done better.

I dont normally like sleeping in hotels. However, I felt very comfortable, safe and the service was excellent. All the staff are kind and very helpful. It wasn't my first stay and I'm sure that says alot. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you for making my stay enjoyable.

From arrival, the hotel taxi driver was very disrespectful. First he parked on drop off side, so we opted to park on pick up. He then came out and started shouting at us without even greeting us telling us we parked wrong. When we indicated that the reason we parked there is because he blocked the drop off side, he did not even apologize. The afternoon shift receptionist was also full of attitude. We asked for the fridge as it was very hot on that day, she refused and told us that she can't promise us since the standard rooms don't come with fridges. Funny, other standard rooms had fridges. After we requested that they cancel our stay so that we can go to other hotels of the same rating with better service she brought it. We asked for the mere plate/dish and they refused saying if we did not order food from them, they are not allowed. We have been to lot of hotels and this was the first time we hear the hotel refusing to just borrow us the plates. It's not like we were going to leave with those plates. Then in the morning, on a breakfast that lacks variety, the employees there were just folding hands while we are battling to find things around. We walked back and forth and no one came to assist. Again please bench mark with other hotels to see how they treat theyr clients. Very disappointing and ruined stay at Premier Hotel Midrand... I will never book here even on my darkest day.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and the room that I booked was spacious. There is no fridge in the rooms, it was very hot and windows are very small , aircon is on the floor in some corner and the air does not circulate. They were short staffed room service took an hour, food was not so great. There were some ants on the wall, pillows are comfortable but scatter cushions had a funny smell.

Alongside the N1 in the heart of Midrand, and close to whatever you could need. You don't really hear much highway noise. The rooms are clean and everything works. I think they have backup power as I never felt the loadshedding. However there a are a few issues. The bathrooms are separated by a sandblasted glass which has a clear opening so you can easily see someone in the toilet or shower :O, this is fine for a romantic getaway but not this type of hotel. We booked a a family room for 4, but they only give 2 towels and you have ask for extras every day. Our room did not have a bar fridge and they did not have any available for us to use. We did not take the breakfast option as it was too pricey but we were glad we didnt - it was very basic with limited food options. There is a small pool but its built in a shaded area which is good somewhat but the limited sun light means it stays fairly cold even in Summer. The focus here at Premier Midrand is on business meeting and conferences as they have a whole centre dedicated to it. The security at the gate should be a bit more efficient as they scan your car and drivers licence every time you enter and leave even on a longer stay. The hotel pricing was very reasonable

Had 15 nights here the Hotel is excellent the food is superb the Chefs do a real good job and ensure what food you select is top notch The Hotel Staff make your stay enjoyable and are very helpful all in all it was a great experience The area is not and I mean the whole of Midrand is not very safe but if you are street wise then you take care and ensure what ever journey you go on you take the required precautions

The carpet had a funky smell, the toilet had yellow stains and the overall room was not properly cleaned. The hotel can put more effort into making sure the rooms and the bathrooms are properly cleaned.
