Villa New York

We stayed in the top floor Villa number 1, it had a fantastic large terrace which was very modern, we had breakfast on this terrace every morning with lovely sea and harbour views, the only thing we encountered on a slight downside, was for people of a certain age the 3 different flights of stone stairs, but it was well worth it when you reached the top, also it was at night extremely well lit. Mlini is a beautiful quaint small harbour town with a few nice restaurants within a small walk, we found the Lantern Restaurant, 20 yards from Villa New York, the best with excellent service and food! The owner and her Just the Husband were lovely very helpful as was her Daughter Yvonna ! I would just like to apologise to Diana as our transfer mini bus arrived early, and I personally didn’t get the chance to say bye properly, would love to go again 💕

Fantastic location opposite the harbour in Mlini. Very easy to find with a few restaurants, shops and boat trips near by. Very clean apartment, we stayed on the top floor terrace and it did not disappoint. Even though it is self catered, cleaners removed our bin bags every day and changed our towels every other day which was a nice touch. Host was very lovely, welcomed us from day one and wished us a great day every time we saw her. Would highly recommend and would definitely book Villa New York again!

Great views from the Villa New York, straight out to a mini harbour, apparently 2 out of 5 rooms do not have any cooking facilities, jet 2 did advise us more so make sure what rooms you book are to your requirement, there is a fridge and kettle only, however we made do with granola yogurts from the supermarket and fruit for breakfast then out for lunch and dinner,the room was very comfy and we had a nice big balcony. The host and their family are very friendly and welcoming. The harbour that you face have little ferry boats that take you to Dubrovnik or Catvar and they are worth the visit especially Dubrovnik. Mlini is a lovely place and nice to see the local kids having swimming lessons in the open air pool from our balcony, there is enough restaurants around to go to as well.

The Villa New York was excellent. Its position on the harbour was superb. The room was basic but serviceable. The place was spotless and the staff friendly and very helpful. On the down side the restaurants in the vicinity where very very expensive. The menus where limited and to be frank, the food was so so. But the Villa New York rescued the holiday. I would definitely recommend this palce but be warned take plenty of money,

What a fabulous week we have had at Villa New York the property is directly on the quayside where swimming in the sea is accessible via steps 50 metres away, beautiful way to start the morning . We had apartment 1 which is on the top floor via outside steps which take you past some gorgeous plants etc . The apartment has everything you need as previously said on other reviews and kept spotlessly clean by Diane and her team . Thankyou Diane for a such a warm welcome and you hospitality we look forward to returning in the future .

We stayed at Villa New York 17 September for a week. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment with private terrace. Apartment is modern and has everything you need. Views are just amazing. Diana met us when we arrived, our apartment wasn’t quite ready and we were offered drinks on the terrace. Diana was so friendly and gave us some advice on restaurants and things to do. Mlini is nice and quiet resort with plenty of restaurants to choose from. I would definitely recommend.
