Hotel Punta del Cantal

Without doubt one of the best with an excellent location , breakfast , room we stayed in (201) & exceptional staff! Front desk can’t do enough for you & will assist with any request. We have stayed in Mojácar many times over the years in our daughters apartment but this is the first time we have stayed in a hotel here & any “trepidation” we felt was definitely not required :-) 10/10 all day & all round.

Very friendly hotel with some very helpful and nice team members in particular Sotiris on reception and Lola in the pool bar. We had a nice corner room by pool. We encountered a few maintenance issues that were very rapidly sorted out so no problem. Everywhere very clean . For breakfast we had to go to the adjacent sister hotel, no problem for us but if you have mobility issues would suggest you stay in sister hotel the El Puntazo. Breakfast very good quality and plenty of choice . Would definitely stay again , it is good value for area and good location, plenty of street parking and also free parking at the El Puntazo. Underground secure parking if you require at a charge . We had a very pleasant stay , thank you to all the team .

This hotel was located in the perfect spot along the beach and had a great swimming pool. The staff were exceptionally friendly

Fabulous stay A quiet oasis away from the busy playa. Clean apartment, quiet pool area, walk across the road and onto the beach. Well positioned for all bars and restaurants. All staff pleasant and helpful. Would stay again.

Although we booked last minute the hotel were very accommodating to request to type of room we wanted. The rooms were lovely great balcony overlooking pool and beautiful little Juliet balcony in the bedroom. Great to have a fridge aswell. Room kept spotlessly clean. Hotel was nice and peaceful always space around the pool. Great position just a short walk to seafront and beach but in a nice quiet street. Breakfast was served in the hotel next door and it was excellent. We also used the bar at the sister hotel that had live music most nights. All the staff at the hotel were lovely and especially Lola at the pool bar - her special Tinto de Veranos were delicious. Will definitely return.

The property is in a very good location for exploring Mojacar Playa. The personnel were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast excellent. The rooms probably need updating now as the style is that of some time back. However, the rooms are perfectly functional and clean.

Location perfect. Pool lovely. Although central very quiet. We had one bed apartment. Spotlessly clean. Small fridge with drinks. But enough space to put own bits in if needed. Lovely little pool side bar. Staff exceptional. Breakfast variety very good. Only criticism for us was the long shared pillows on bed. Otherwise bed very confortable. And a fantastic stay.

Not worth the money Done many stays over the years in this area, definitely wouldn’t class as 4 star, very basic, room was riddled with ants, even in the bed, and later discovered hundreds in my handbag as it was left on the floor at the side of the bed, lady on reception didn’t even apologise for this. Very disappointed 😞
