Hôtels proches de Bunter Garten Erdkugel, Mönchengladbach

We wanted to find a cheap stay at a hotel in Mönchengladbach. Normally mcdreams is the choice…sub 50€ with free parking. This is quite basic and no frills 3 star accommodation. But in Germany 3 stars means a lot…even when basic. It’s clean, great beds, bathroom … great price quality. While looking I got a special offer for this hotel on hotels.com. 50€ per room per night. This hotel has what I call the trifecta. Great price, free parking and free breakfast. But it was so so much better thans expected. To be honest the pictures on the website didn’t do this hotel any justice at all. We almost cancelled because it looks dated and with shabby bathroom. Let’s do the bad first. The floor in the room…looks very shiny, plasticky. But it was meticulously clean and walking on it is beer than on the carpets that just doesn’t feel clean enough in older hotels. The bathroom I must say feel and looks old. That’s due to the white tiles and bathtub I guess. But bathroom was meticulously clean and all in working order. The bath is really not so functional, quite high. So elderly or less flexible persons must be careful when getting in or out from bath. But great if you have a baby or kids I guess. In our room the shower didn’t have a thermostat and the water temperature moved around a bit…from coldish to too hot…and everything in between. That’s a negative, but water pressure was good. But the rest was much much better then expected. First of all free parking underneath the hotel. But I think the street is free parking too. Location is in upper residential area so feels really safe in the street. Weirdly you can enter the hotel via the garage…but the door doesn’t open from the outside. Also no chance to call reception topen it. This means when you arrive you need to walk outside on quite a steep climb to enter hotel at reception. The rooms as I mentioned was very clean and quite spacious. There is a good working TV. Beds are great. Sadly two singles, but at 90cm that’s a good width. You get two pillows and there is plenty of plugs to use. For the summer..unfortunately no AC. What really sets this place apart is the amenities provided. It shames 4/5 star hotels. From toothbrushes, shaving kit, toilet wet wipes, to sewing and even a shoeshine kit.wow. The best I saved the best for last. The free breakfast. We got a full German breakfast. The downside it was at the nearby elisenhof hotel. The good thing….It was top quality breakfast. In 5 star hotels I have had breakfast with more choice, but it was not so tasty or of such quality. Don’t get me wrong. It had everything.bacon. Sausage, 2 types scrambled egg, salmon, and the usual continental spread. The breads was great and cold cuts with local specialty always good. The juice bar was tops with fresh squeezed OJ machine. A very satisfying start of the day. I cant recommend this place enough. The price quality king..even if without the extra discount.

Extremely helpful staff, well located hotel with ample secure parking (for a small fee). We were in Neuss attending a funeral having travelled from the UK. Reception was exceptionally helpful arranging for our PCR results to be printed out before our departure if we needed them to. Breakfast and dinner were excellent even though dinner had to be taken in the bar as the restaurant was closed.

La chambre d'hôte est brune et le bâtiment de la face du mur blanc du toit semble avoir beaucoup de choses derrière. Si vous logez dans cet hôtel, vous vous recommandons de loger dans une chambre qui peut être vue sur le Rhin. Vous pouvez voir la gare. La chambre est propre et propre, avec des signes de désinfection, avec des pommes de fruits en bois sur l'étiquette locale, qui peuvent servir de souvenir. Il y a un coffre-fort et un presse-bouteille. Le service de la réception est très amiable. Il peut y avoir beaucoup d'invités japonais. Peut-être parce que je savais qu'ils étaient japonais, mais ils m'ont donné des mini-bars gratuits.

Hôtel très bien situé au calme , tout près de la nature et point de départ de multiples promenades , à pied , en vélo ou en voiture . Très bon accueil souriant . L'hôtel n'est luxueux mais tout est parfaitement correct , propre et en ordre. Belles chambres , très propres , bonne literie , avec vue sur les jardins , salle de bain très correcte. Bon petit déjeuner , il y a un peu de tout pour démarrer une bonne journée. Un bravo particulier pour la cuisine , très bon restaurant ... nous avons super bien mangé... A recommander sans hésiter .

Chateau aménagé avec goût, endroit calme et chaleureux, extérieurs magnifiques, service impeccable et personnel serviable et agréable. Repas gastronomique excellent. Petit musée de la ceramique à proximité (petit bémol: prix d'entrée un peu cher! 7,50€ par personne)

L’hôtel est très bien situé, à seulement 10mn à pied de la gare centrale de Düsseldorf. Le personnel est souriant et arrangeant. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et calmes. Les lits sont confortables. Rien ne manquait! Mention spéciale au petit-déjeuner qui était excellent et qui a dépassé nos attentes. C’est un sans faute ! Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

La chambre était bonne et le parking intérieur moyen (un peu étroit et coûteux (15,00 EUR pour 24 heures)). Le personnel - trois dames - n'a pas beaucoup soucié du buffet (les rouleaux de pain et les œufs creux étaient vides), mais l'invité doit demander de le remplir, bien qu'il y ait beaucoup d'invités dans la chambre de petit déjeuner. Il faut aller au petit-déjeuner pour demander du thé chaud, du café, etc. car personne du personnel ne se sent responsable de aller à la table de l'invité pour demander si le thé chaud, le café, etc. est souhaitable. Le personnel n'a pas nettoyé le restaurant. La chambre de petit déjeuner est très rédigée, car il n'y a pas de portes et il fait partie de la grande lobby d'entrée du théâtre de Venlo.
