This hotel is well located for the Glistening Waters, which is the prime attraction on this bay near Falmouth, in my opinion. Unfortunately, the quiet and mostly empty hotel tends to overcharge in order to make it's expenses. We paid Lonely Planet prices of $125- per night, which were this hotel anywhere in the USA would be worth have this given the room quality. Threadbare towels, no soap, and sluggish toilet. A/C was OK, and patio leading to waterfront very nice. We dined alone in a large dated dining room, where the service was slow, food mediocre in quality, and overly priced compared to what one can find just a few steps from the cruise ships in Falmouth. Manager recommendations for boat and taxi driver turned out to also be flawed in terms of service, way overpriced compared to marketplace, and services provided without enthusiasm.
