RWR Rainforest Writing retreat of 60 people. We highly recommend the Sanctuary, a perfect venue for 3 days or more. We had table and chairs, 2 projectors, a fire going in the back ground & also air-conditioning. A fully stocked bar is also available in this venue. A small step outside onto the verandah for lunch with the most serene rainforest view and creek inviting a calm moment before going back inside for more learning. Morning and afternoons teas were fresh and high quality. Dinner was held in the wedding venue with fairy lights, a full bar and a dance floor, right next door the fire pits invited you in for a chat. It was just beautiful and the food, DELICIOUS. There was plenty of accommodation and the staff were kind, courteous and helpful. Plenty of parking. Retreaters who brought family along had plenty of things to do, see and experience. The main resturant had a variety of food prepared by an excellent chef and the bar area was quaint and inviting. There is so much to see and experience and at least 30% arrived a day early and left a day later than the 3 day retreat. We will certainly be returning next year. A big shout out to Cassie who looked after us and our friendly Caretaker Chris. Well done to all your staff.

Just stayed at Sky Island Studios to celebrate my birthday and could not have asked for a better experience. I was met by Jessica upon arrival, who made both myself and my wife feel very welcome. The cake in the fridge and message on blackboard was a delight! The cabins are beautiful - was wonderful to wake up to the sounds of birds while watching sunrise in the morning. Breakfast on the deck was spectacular - and the banana choc smoothie was just the right way to start the day! Huge thanks to Jessica and Albert for their hospitality and look forward to visiting again.

Was a lovely place to stay clean spaces rooms a manager that couldn’t do more for us we ha 6 people 3 couples a room each couple , you had everything in the room you could ask for .Close walking distance to everything bars food scenic walks it had it all great place would go back just for the extras in the room it’s a must stay if up that way

Nous avons été rencontres par un personnel amiable et nous avons montré notre chambre. La principale raison pour laquelle nous sommes déçus de la chambre qui nous a été montrée est qu'il n'y avait pas de garde-robe ou de frigo et il était juste un lit dans la chambre avec aucun autre meuble et une salle de bains standard. Nous avons demandé si il y avait une chambre avec quelque part pour tenir nos vêtements au moins et il a été suggéré qu'un chapeau puisse s'adapter ! Nous avons demandé si il y avait des chambres avec un garde-robe et nous avons été montrés une autre chambre qui avait vraiment un garde-robe mais pas de hangers ! ....qui voyage avec des hangers de vêtements ? ! ! J'ai fait beaucoup de voyages et j'ai vu de nombreuses chambres d'hôtel, mais jamais sans une personne sans avoir penché vos vêtements. Nous avons été montrés une chambre plus grande avec un stand de chapeau, mais pas de garde-robe et parce qu'il avait un table, cuisine et réfrigérateur nous avons demandé si nous pouvions réserver ça mais nous avons dû payer un autre $390 pour les cinq nuits. Nous avons accepté avec réticence ce coût supplémentaire...pas encore de garde-robe ni de place pour mettre des vêtements!!! ...pas même un ensemble de tiroirs. Le café, le thé, les biscuits, les toilettes et les serviettes n'ont pas été remplis et les caisses n'ont pas été vides. La plupart des hébergements aurait offert un hébergement pendant un séjour de 5 nuits. La nuit dernière nous étions là nous n'avons pas beaucoup dormi comme d'autres patrons étaient très bruyants jusqu'à 4.30a.m. dans la chambre commune qui est à côté des chambres... pas échapper au bruit comme il est sur le même étage!!! La nourriture était bonne et le jardin est grand dans les soirées. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas disponible à l'hôtel mais quelques excellentes cafés à proximité. Désolé, il n'y avait pas de touches de finition, car cette évaluation aurait pu être très différente.

C'est la deuxième fois que j'ai séjourné dans les Banna Burra Sky Lodges, après que les feux de bus frappaient le Banna Burra Lodge en 2019. Les Sky Lodges sont magnifiquement équipées, avec beaucoup de boissons, outils, lave-linge et une baignoire spa. En raison de circonstances de travail imprévues, un ami personnel qui devait nous conduire jusqu'au Sky Lodge, et nous accompagner sur un bus devait nous annuler environ une semaine avant notre réservation. J'ai appelé la ligne de stationnement et le gestionnaire de la cabine, Pip était réellement réaliste de recommander à un transporteur privé de nous embarquer de la gare de Nerang à Binna Burra et de retour. À l'arrivée à Binna Burra, je suis surpris de constater que le check-in pour les Binna Burra Sky Lodges a déménagé à la Teahouse, qui est à environ 200-300 mètres de la route de l'emplacement des Sky Lodges. Heureusement, nous avons eu un excellent gestionnaire de fonctions, Justine, qui nous a soulagés nos préoccupations, nous permettant de déposer nos sacs en marche vers le circuit Daves Creek. Elle a aussi dû gérer et traiter avec mon père injustifié, qui a demandé à mon père de quitter le parcours et de la faire descendre pour notre aire quand nous étions incontacts en raison de mauvaise réception des signaux. Lorsque nous nous sommes connectés à la réception, Justine a fourni un service client exceptionnel en nous conduisant jusqu'aux Sky Lodges et en nous portant nos sacs lourds dans la chambre. Elle nous a également approuvés de sortir en laissant nos clés dans la chambre, au lieu de devoir arrêter toutes nos pièces à la réception.

We booked her for our wedding accomodation but did not get married on site ( thank goodness ). Completely misses the mark of luxury accomodation. We paid for the Romance package - wine was simply in the fridge - had to hunt around when we couldn’t find it ( we had to ask for a chilled bucket ). We were asked on check in if we’d like anything done for when we get back from our wedding in our room - rose petals , spa run, candles lit - we answered yes - and then paid $100 for the privilege. We asked if breakfast ( included ) could be made up and bought to our room the first morning ( 100m walk ) as my husband was getting ready on his own and would be really rushed that morning ( mid morning wedding )- answer no. Could we order ahead and he come pick it up as soon as you start breakfast? Answer no. Apparently you need to be present in the dining room to get breakfast. So far, not a great first impression. We later found our from others that breakfast is terrible so glad we decided not to bother.Thankfully the room is amazing - high ceilings, beautiful view into rainforest, nice bed, nice tv, fake but nice fireplace and spa. Missing that luxury feel with cheap soaps and toiletries and no room service or room attendance for the duration of your stay. First night we walk to lobby just after 5pm to ask if we can have a drink in the lobby bar - to be told the person with the RSA has gone home for the day. I have stayed at cheaper , better accomodation on the mountain and regret booking this for such a special occasion. I feel like management has changed or this place has been sold, as you could feel the cost cutting at every corner. We currently are in our destination honeymoon hotel and walked into a bottle of wine , chocolates, bath bombs, rose petals and card from staff - not expected but highlights the extreme differences in service and guest relations. There are zero amenities at Pethers- and the staff we met don’t seem to love it there either. Read the latest review and stay anywhere else.
