Telegraph Cove Marina & RV Park

I stayed here for 4 nights but I wish it was for longer, I had a perfect view of the marina from the living room window of my RV. There is plenty of space between RV bays so you are not overlooked by your neighbours.

We have moored our boat in Telegraph Cove Marina since 2017. It is the perfect spot. We absolutely love it there. The washroom and laundry facilities are always clean. The launch for the Marina is wide and easy to use (we have a big boat)! Tyler and Stephanie are always helpful. We look forward to our time there every year!

The site we had selected got changed because someone had booked a longer stay. It does say in the small print that they can do this but it was still disappointing. We were told our new site had partial ocean view. It did not. When I pointed this out, I was told that the trees had grown! There was a strong swell of sewage from the sewage treatment area. Telegraph Cove itself was lovely but I would not use that word for the RV park.

We stay at Telegraph Cove every year, same time, and usually get our same space. We have seen so many bears,lots of otters, and if you go on a whale watching cruise, you see so many whales, otters, seals and beautiful scnery. The spot is lovely, with a store and restaurants so close you can walk to them. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We stayed at this campsite Aug. 26th 2023 for one night, we where a party of 2 RV’s. We came with no reservations and where placed in campsite, 15&16. We parked the RV’s set up and took a hike around the grounds. Upon return we noticed a foul sewer smell, we thought we may have done something wrong with our hook ups. So we double checked the but everything was good. My cousin thought it was coming from the bathroom area. We put it out of our minds and started with supper but the smells got worse. We finished up our supper, but the smell was not good, we all went to our RV’s and shut the doors and windows and put the A/C on. The next morning we went to the office to see what the problem was… we’re we’re told the sewer system needed an upgrade and sorry for the inconvenience, later my wife was told a different story when she placed her review on google. Management replied that they had a power outage the day before and they needed to flush the system. Here is my problem….. I totally get that things happen ( been in business for 27 years) But as management I feel no matter what the story was with the septic system, they should have told us before sending us to the site that there was a potential problem with the septic and that there may be a smell. That way we could have either moved on to another facility or took our chances knowing we were warned and the decision was ours. At no time we’re we offered a refund or any type of compensation. If you are going to this campsite beware of the area around 15&16

Spent 18 days here fishing in Aug and had a fabulous time. Good marina slips and helpful staff to help keep a novice boater out of trouble navigating. Fishing was excellent. This was my 38'th year coming to the Cove and although there has been a lot of change over the years it is always a delight returning.
