This house built in 1930 has been recreated with the past in mind. This quaint cottage overlooks the city and has the charm of yesteryear. A lot of time has went into the detail of the design keeping up with the needs of today but capturing the feeling of the past. Everything you need for a stay away from home. The property is located in town but its still the country.About pets:Pets allowed.Please let me know if you are bringing a pet.About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:Please strip the beds used. Start a load of the towels in the washer if possible..About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About events:No events allowed.

Mountain City cabin
The cabin was cozy and easily accessible. Be aware that the 1 bedroom has a double bed with a very uncomfortable mattress (bring a memory foam if you have back/joint pain). The twin bed is located in the same bedroom and has a more comfortable mattress but is low to the floor. We loved the history of the cabin and the heating system is excellent! Kitchen and living room are spacious. No toaster.

Clean as a fiddle and in Town
What a lovely place to stay. The unit was very clean with warm heat and good layout. You are above and next to US-421, so there will be traffic noise. We are not use to traffic noise at night, and did not find this location to be an issue. The history of this house is wonderful (read story in guest book), and the location is convenient to all the Mountain City area has to offer. I would not hesitate to book this home in the future.

Sweet little place with a great view.
It was nice to have the comforts of home: living room, kitchen, laundry facilities, and a private but central location. Hosts were available and responsive when needed.

When viewing the property from outside driving up, it is shocking. Looks like an abandoned cabin. That’s for tax assessment purposes. Inside is immaculate! Clean, everything you could possibly need from the kitchen to the bathroom furnished. A super place to stay. Spotlessly cleaned. Great view of the city yet close. I will always try to return.

Very Comfortable Stay
Super nice and clean cabin. Convenient to all the restaurants and shopping. All of the comforts of home with pretty Mountain Views. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you:)

Sweet Little Cabin
Very comfortable for 2 adults and would be for a small family. Close to everything in Mountain City and we hope to be back soon!

Lovely historical cottage with porches overlooking Mt. City, TN
Updated 1930's cottage with all the amenities, full kitchen, 2 baths. Christy was prompt with answering all my questions. I plan to return in the fall!
