IInvitéThe hotel was beyond expectations, very clean and smart with great facilities. The staff were very kind and helpfull and the breakfast was delicious, a great plus to have coffee. The view was beautiful especially from our bathtub room, when the fog breifly cleared but I don't expect them to control the weather. Our host helped us with a plan to visit all the temples which we did. I couldn't ask for anything better.

I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands.
I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of.
During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service.
But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing.
This was not a tourist activity.
It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries.
My conclusion:
This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

HHaoyeyePour la première fois, je suis venu à Kowwa Mountain, trois jours et deux nuits, et j'ai été choisi par des gens qui vivaient sur la montagne. Il n'y a pas de mauvaise chose. Champagne Ri ne m'a pas déçu. Je suis vraiment déçu de ce que je pensais. Je suis venue de la position géographique pour le service, la décoration, l'atmosphère, la nourriture, le soir, je ne peux pas dire très Bon, même lave-linge, c'est tout ce que je veux. Je préfère particulièrement les marques. Ne regardez pas ceci comme un peuple. Je pense que je ne perds pas vraiment un hôtel six étoiles et sept étoiles à l'intérieur. Principalement, il est vraiment très pratique sur le plan géographique. Où que vous allez. Le service du patron et du magasin est particulièrement bon. Expliquez aux touristes la feuille de route de la montagne de Kowwa. Très attentive. Je ne dirai pas plus. Si vous venez à Kowwa pour y rester, choisissez Champagne Li. Vous ne serez pas déçu. (Je reviens à Kowwa et je vais rester ici. hahaha) Kowwa Mountain est venu. Okay. Okay. Okay. 🙏🙏🙏

MMs. Jovell GanThis is a very new and excellent guesthouse in Jiuhuashan and it turned out to be a great find! The location is fantastic, right along the lively Jiuhua Street.
Just across the road is the main bus transfer station, which makes it super convenient for us to take the tourist buses to the 肉身宝殿and 天台索道
There’s also a shortcut to 化城寺— only about a 5–7 minute walk.
Overall, the location is very convenient with plenty of food and amenities nearby — nothing to complain about at all.
The guesthouse is very well managed: the rooms are new, clean, and warmly decorated, and the owners are very friendly.
We’ll definitely come back again!

Ssugar…Le chef et le couple sont super enthousiastes et nous ont apporté des fruits. Nous n'avons pas fait d'agression à partir de Henan. Nous sommes venus ici pour faire un plan pour le patron. Nous jouons très bien! L'importance est que la santé est très propre. La chambre est plus sèche et ne sent pas de goût. Il est très confortable de dormir! L'année prochaine, vous aurez une famille ! Il est également recommandé que vous viennent à la boutique très proche des attractions chaudes

YykchowThe location of this so ideal for me. It was very peaceful and the room was facing the DiZhang Bodhisattva. I could do my prayer, meditation and connect with DiZhang Bodhisattva daily.
The recption is friendly and helpful. The furnishing and the resort hotel facilities were old. The sound proof of the room was poor as you could hear some guests were talking and shouting. But luckily it was a low season. Local Chinese will flood these areas duing the Labor day (01-03 May) and their National day (01-07 Oct). Please avoid visiting duing these periods.
High speed rail - Jiuhuashan station just completed. Use this station to access Jiuhuashan. Less than 30min to reach Jiuhua Mountain Dayuan Culture Park (九华山大愿文化园). Highly recommend to stay around the 九华山风景区柯村新区.

IInvitéThe hotel is located a stone throw away after alighting from the tourist bus at the entrance to scenic area (50RMB to n fro the foot of the mountain). Had already chatted with owner on WeChat n he fetched me after I alighted .
Room is clean and functional .
Am an easy traveller and very satisfied with the hotel. Of course you can walk around and look for a hotel (there are many many hotels !!!!!!) but I think if u pre book u will make your life easier especially if u have a luggage.
He planned the itinerary for me. and it was a very fulfilling walking trip in nature visiting temples and paying respects to 地藏菩萨 .
So many restaurants too!!!!!!!!
He even sent me to the bus station . Thank u
He is a kind soul . He quickly called me when he see me walking in “wrong direction” when actually i wanted to visit the temple next to bus stop .
